Short Relaxing Vacation

I was quite pleased with the unit we stayed in...it was close to the beach, shopping and the train ride. It is updated, clen and very comfortable. I appreciate the ladies who helped me get into the unit..

The rental was a good location to the beach. However, it’s right across the street from a restaurant and the views of employees constantly smoking or vaping went on all day. We didn’t realize the unit did not have a washer or dryer but luckily there is a laundry mat right downstairs. We didn’t like they wouldn’t replenish paper towels and there were no basic cleaning supplies. There were also quite a few ants we noticed and there were quite a few when they found food my kids dropped. My kids loved the sand toys and the kites that were provided. They loved the bunk beds with their own lounge chair and tv. The space was excellent for a couple or small family. The upstairs was nice, but lounging up there to watch a movie is out of the question. The built in bench is very uncomfortable and not meant for long term use. I felt that was disappointing so the adults couldn’t really kick back and watch a movie. Overall, I’d say it was an average stay but we love Rockaway and the Oregon coast so it’s worth it.

This is a great house. Easy to get to the beach or wonder downtown. The house was extremely clean. I do wish in the instructions for check in it disclosed where the lock was located and as its just a loose key i do hope the owners would consider upgrading the lock to a keyless lock that just has you enter a code at the door. I will highly recommend this location and will rebook again.
