Sea Treasures inn

The only thing good I can say is that it’s close to the beach. Deck was unusable due to the amount of bird poop(lots). Bathroom had nasty “stain” on the wall. Toilet is about to tip over from floor. The heater and fan in fhe bathroom are both not functioning. Use caution, especially with children in the shower as the hot water will scald you! The cable barely works.

Decent place.

It is an older property and could use some repair work on the door, in wall heaters, more outlets, etc. but the inside was pretty, simple and comfortable, had a hard time figure out the TV, but we weren’t there to watch TV. Overall nice stay.

impressed

inexpensive but very fair.Enjoyed the area shops and beach. Enjoyed resting in the room and wayching tv.Quiet and peaceful. Cute remodeled room and the lock box was nice because I did not uave to wait on anyone to let us in or out.

Adequate Accommodations

Walking in, it was nice, spacious, well set up and we loved the full size dining table. It was mostly clean: some sand, dust and a feather on the floor (odd). The beds were clean and comfortable although they were EXTREMELY loud/squeaky. The most unfortunate part was that our toilet wasn’t working properly, we paid a lot for the room considering the toilet was broken upon arrival. After a long drive, this is extremely frustrating to find. Aside from that, it was a good one night stay. We felt safe and it was private. Only one other guest in the place (from what we could tell).

Had to leave

We had a bad experience. We could only stay one night of the three we booked because their shower completely did not work and they could have someone fix it. I have reached out multiple time about a refund for the nights we didn't stay and have had zero response. Seem very unprofressional

Not bad for the price

Honestly it wasn’t bad for the cost per night. I will say the beds are squeaky and super uncomfortable. The shower head has almost no pressure and is meant for shorter people. The toilet handle you have to rattle after you flush. And the biggest issue of all is NO PLUG INS. Like wow, there was almost nothing for our phones, the fan, lamps, etc. That was the biggest disappointment.

Don’t go here

It was dirty with bird poop and other stuff on outside on deck as well as outside the door to entrance. Gross and when you tried to open the door to the deck it blew in that stuff. When sitting on toilet, the toilet moved as if it would break away from the wall. Base boards not clean, and broken. Vents rusted out and dirty. Smelled musty and old. I could not stay here due to allergy reasons and company REFUSED to give any refund!!

Just ok

Price was right for the lack of amenities, bells and whistles. Pigeons were a bit of a problem on the deck, mainly their poop everywhere and them trying to find a place to nest near the heat of the porch lights. Pet friendly room but unfortunately pet hair was on the bedding when we arrived. No coffee in the room, no A/C and the humidity was high so cooling down was a chore. Cable TV was inoperable and smart TV options were not available. Parking is sparse so you may or may not get a space at the motel. Extra towels were helpful but unfortunately no foot wash station operational. Proximity to beach was great. Cute place but small improvements need to be made to make it more comfortable.

Do not stay here. Vacasa and the property owner unresponsive

The first night we got to the property the tub was running full blast, non stop. We were able to get the water to slow down but not stop. We went to the beach, came back to learn the shower didn’t work and we had no hot water. We contacted Vacasa immediately and they said a local team was contacted. We called Vacasa the next morning and they said the Maintainence team was contact. Around noon we had heard nothing. We called again, they said a local team was going to contact us. At 2pm, after being at the property 24 hours no one had contacted us and we had repeatedly called and text. We called Vacasa again and asked for a refund. Vacasa said a local team would contact us within two hours. About two hours later, the local team called and said they were aware of the issue with some facet. The local team said Vacasa had only contacted him an hour ago, 24 hours after we first contacted them…. The local team said they knew the facet was running, but didn’t know the shower didn’t work. The local team said to fix the shower they would have to turn the water off to the building and they weren’t going to do that until the end of the season. So they rented this property to us knowing it was broken. We asked for a refund and the local team said they would approve it. We called Vacasa about the refund and they said the local team had to approve it. It’s been five days and we still haven’t gotten a refund. Do not stay at this property! Vacasa should remove this list immediately.

Great location and price

Hotel room without the lobby type services. Clean, beds were comfortable but EXTREMELY squeaky. Toilet is a nightmare, constantly having to plunge. Shower has great pressure though. Close and easy access to beach. Would stay again.

It’s really not clear this is a room in a crappy inn until after you’re committed. The extra fees on top of the advertised rate are ridiculous.

Great location and staff

Two blocks from the beach is perfect, if it’s a busy weekend parking is difficult as there is no reserved spot for the room. We left a set of keys in the room but the staff was so nice and let us back in to get them hours after checkout. The walls are a little thin as this is a motel that has been updated but not terrible. The beds are comfortable the shower head is quite short probably sits at about 5”5 as I am 5”7 and had to duck a bit to get my head under. They provide so many towels which is great. Right down the street from a great seafood restaurant and a great pizza place.

Good value the place was nice central location. Five min walk and your on the beach. The birds took over the deck, was not usable unless you had a pressure washer every time you went out there. But for a cozy affordable room it was worth it!

Good location, but several issues with the room

The location was good and the room was recently remodeled, however, it was obviously a quick slap together job. There was absolutely no airflow in the room. The small wall space heater and fan were not sufficient, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the floor in the entire unit was sandy, there was no screen on the patio door, causing bird feathers to fly into the room from the dirty bird poop covered patio when we opened the door for airflow. The beds were crazy noisy/squeeky. I didn't even know mattresses could be made like that. just sitting down on the bed sounded like jumping on on a trampoline. There were no rugs in the room which made room echo a lot. A few minor adjustments in the room would make it much more accommodating (i.e. screens on the patio, rugs, better mattresses, a bathroom fan, etc)

Convenient and cute

The interior remodel is really cute a d cozy. I love that they are dog friendly and less than a block from the beach. Just know that the shower 🚿 doesn’t have great pressure but it will still get you clean. 😉 good price and great location so I gave it 5 stars.

Great Location!

Perfect little getaway! Location is great, beach is fabulous! An older motel reinvented but clean. We couldn’t open the locks on the doors without spending five minutes and struggling each time so that wasn’t great and the shower head was extremely low… I’m 5’3” and had to duck way down to get my hair wet. The shower head was very very old and half of the spray never transferred from tub to shower head so it was hard to rinse hair… no water pressure. We had a good time though and enjoyed Rockaway Beach !!

Well located motel

Excellent location, just steps to the beach, and a quick walk to restaurants and the train stop. My family was excited to find an open place to stay on 4th of July weekend that didn’t run over $300 a night. I will say that this won’t be a new favorite place to stay. The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable, and the bathroom was smelly. I won’t be rushing back to stay here, but it served our need for a last minute holiday weekend.

Don’t let the pictures fool you. Subpar motel.

The walls are paper thin so we heard everything everyone did all night. The beds are uncomfortable and squeak and make noise any time you move. The electricity was not working when we arrived. The Internet kept going out until early evening. The shower was near impossible to turn on. For the amount of money I spent I was expecting more. I’m will it be staying at this motel again.
