“The location is beautiful, safe, and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious, with something slightly different each day, and it was delivered right to our chalet. I stayed for 4 nights with my two teenage kids, and they absolutely loved the cosy look and feel of the chalet. Since it’s a mountain area, the mornings and evenings can get quite chilly, and rain can come at any time. Thankfully, the electric heated mattresses kept us warm and comfortable. “My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

“The house is all you can expect and gives more than you need. A great place to spend your first days in Costa Rica, before we start to travel the country. Great and fast communication with the owner and staff. Very helpful with every question we had. We are happy that we can end our holiday at this location as well.”

“Nous sommes arrivés très tard un soir plutôt froid et de grand vents. La maison était très fraîche à notre arrivée mais après avoir parti les chauffage d’appoint nous étions assez bien. Notre surprise a été le lendemain matin, lorsque nous avons vu la beauté du terrain super bien aménagé pour les enfants. Nous ne sommes restés que 3 nuits mais nos enfants ont bien profité des jeux extérieur. La maison en tant que telle est plutôt petite mais tout y est. Parfait pour décrocher du quotidien!”

“Nice change of scenery and the manger was wonderful. The cabin was was pefwct for our interests and secluded enough to feel out of the city, yet close enough to go when you wanted. No ac, but not needed because it’s cold up in the mountains at night and the fireplace was used often. I will give some advice to owner however? Do not use vacasa as a broker they were rude and were adding huge fees and costs that were not at all necessary or reasonable. The house was great though, but watch out for……

“Had a lovely time with Daniel as a host. We had some communication problems regarding the adress to the house (which were completly my fault), should have read his message. The unit was exactly as expected. I didnt get to see the vandalizing monkey though. :( but were visited by a sweet Raccoon. Beautiful space and different things right outside the door.”
