“Gorgeous and unique property close to the Poas Nacional Park. The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed in the Junior Dome and had a relaxing and zen like stay. The property was very cute and quiet in June. There was a nearby dog barking nonstop from a neighbor but not much you can do about that.”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. “The grounds garden and pool were very beautiful and clean. The restaurant was amazing and included a full bar. They even had a space that allowed the dog to dine with us. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and water pressure in the shower was great! We would stay again.”

“The place was great! The room was clean and had everything you need for a short stay. The air conditioning was a huge plus. I would not recommend the food at the restaurant, however. It is overpriced and bland. But the property grounds were beautiful and the staff were kind and helpful.”

“Every thing is old, don’t expect anything clean or nice. Sink have crack and bathtub water wouldn’t drain. Expect some bugs in room and noise from your neighbors”
