「We wanted to visit the Tarkine and this proved the perfect base. Spacious and cosy with easy to operate wood fire, good kitchen with full size fridge.Lots of thoughtful touches made this a very pleasant stay.」

「Uninterrupted views of the ocean. Loved the barrel fire pot on the veranda. Didn't need it, but just lovely to be out there. Great place for an extended family to hang out, beachcombing, fishing or just sitting with a wine and a good book. Its got it all, and all the things you need if the weather gets wild and woolly.....didn't happen in our case. 」

「Great location. Quiet. Basic amenities but could do with a couple of extra utensils in the kitchen area (additional bread and butter knife, there was only one and steak knives aren’t the best for spreading, a pot that fits fits the steamer). The shower was good. Plenty of hot water. Bed super comfortable. Decent linens. Excellent selection of reading material as there was TV, music source or wifi in our beach cabin. 「This is a spectacular and stunningly comfortable home in a stunning garden in a lush wildlifey forest which epitomises Australia. You'll struggle to find time for the tourist attractions. Just be comfy with log fires, plush furniture and a fern forest garden with pure freshwater creeks with yabbies, wallabies and birdlife you'd seldom see. Claire - the host - will show you round and then chat or vanish as needed but it's her home, she built it, and knows heaps.」

「Fabulous view of the river and beach from this very comfortable villa. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. The washing machine in the bathroom was a bonus. It was lovely watching the sunset into the ocean through the windows and from the balcony. 」
