"Very clean room, they upgraded us for free so we can have three beds instead of two. They gave combs, toothbrush n tooth paste, shsvers, and slippers. The water pressure was perfect. It’s right next to the Kyoto station where you can shop and eat. It was easy check in and out, I didn’t have to speak to anyone"

"I enjoyed the egg sandwich from the cafe! Amenities included coffee on the 3rd floor which was fun to make. I enjoyed the balcony overseeing the park! Front desk desk was extremely help with restaurant recommendations and was very playful with my 6 year old children. Truly a hidden gem of a hotel."

"Great onsen onsite and a traditional tatami experience. Guests are required to take your shoes off when you arrive at the hotel which adds to the hominess of the stay"

"If you have staid in an Apa before you probably know what you are in for, but overall solid value! Big bed, clean and compact. Bathroom is modular a bit small by western standards but still very usable and clean! No complaints here!"

"Nice find in Kyoto. Convenient, right next to Toji Station, a konbini, and multiple dining options. Hotel was clean, staff was helpful. Hotel comes with a lounge to relax in and they provide afternoon snacks as well as coffee/tea all day long. Would stay again."

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The onsen was a delightful experience. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening, and it was excellent with reasonable prices. I highly recommend staying here while traveling!"
