Helpful Host, Neat, Good Location, Nice Breakfast

We had a very good time at the guesthouse. First, the guesthouse is located conveniently, walking distance to every location, and very safe and neat. The guesthouse is also neat. I am impressed by the elevator, very classic one. The host is really really nice, suggest us and explain us very patiently on where to go, and where to eat. Also, he provided us with very very nice breakfast. Rome was our first stop of European trip this time, which definitely was a big encouragement and energy for us to continue. Rome is so lovely. We had a good time in this romantic city and also in this nice guesthouse. Highly recommended

Great Deal!

I arrived waaay early, knowing that I had no hope of check in and just hoping to store my bag, but to my surprise the host showed up and gave me my room! After a sleepless night of travel that was incredible! The room was small and basic but it was clean and cute and perfect for me. The bed was very comfortable and warm (it’s cold in January), there was a full length mirror, a towel warmer, a rain shower head and a bidet. The only thing I missed was a hair dryer, but that’s no big deal. You might find the shower snug if you are generously proportioned but It was fine for me and even had a line to dry clothes, which I love. The common area also has a machine to make various coffee drinks. It’s fairly close to The Vatican, about a 40 minute walk to the train station and not as close to some of the historic sites as I thought it was when I booked, so keep that in mind if you don’t like walking long distances. But I had fun exploring the neighborhood (read: getting lost.) I also felt it was a safer neighborhood than the one closer to the train station, which, as a solo female traveler, is important to me. I thought this was a great deal for the price.

Best Hotel

The hotel is in a winning central location by close in walking distance to St. Peter Basilica, and Pantheon, and other major sightseeing. The room is spacious, the bedding is very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again next time when we are back to Rome. Anna is very helpful and accommodating.

This is not a hotel. There is no front desk, so it is necessary to contact a person to get the key to the building and the room. But the telephone number announced on the site is not working, I had to call Hoels.com office in London to get the right telephone number to contact a person in charge. It was raining when I arrived the building. I was desperate standing in from of a closed door. It was nothing but a luck, I met another traveler coming out from the building. The fellow traveler texted to the person in charge to inform that I had been in front of the door. It was a really terrible experience. On top of that, there was no heating in mid November. Bed cover was very thin, I was freezing. I trusted rating the hotel had, but there must be some tricks in this rating. I hope the ratings reflect the reality.

이동하기 좋은장소에 친절한 숙소

집앞에 버스정류장이 있고 맛있는 레스토랑과 빵집도 있습니다. 작은 가게도 있어서 무엇을 사든 편했다. 도보로 스페인광장, 트레비분수 등 명소를 다 갈수있고 엘레베이터도 있어 짐 옮기는데 큰 도움이 되었다. 숙소안에 커피머신도 있어 매일 2잔씩 마셨고 수건도 넉넉하며 주인도 친절했던 곳이었다. 다만 체크인 할때 주인이 없어서(체크인 시간을 미리 정확하게 하고 가는게 좋을것 같다)조금 당황했지만 연락을 하니 바로 와서 금방 해결되었다. 다시 로마에 오게 된다면 또 묵을 생각이 있을만큼 좋았다.

Prima gelegen hotel

Een uitzonderlijk goed gelegen hotel om Rome te ontdekken. Zeer rustige buurt met prima restaurants. Ontbijten is niet in het hotel maar op 30m afstand. Wel weinig keuze!

Fantastic!

The lady who did our check in was very friendly, she provided a lot of helpful city information. The Location is perfect. I traveled with my 19 and 17 year old daughters; they loved the placed and we walked almost everywery from there. The airport shuttle is a couple of blocks away from there and only cost us 6euros per person to go to the airport.

AC no good and small shower. Otherwise ok

Our host Anna is very nice. However, the rooms A/C could not keep up with the heat load that Anna created by leaving the window of the room open all day. It wasn’t until about 300-400am that I stopped sweating. The shower is for children. Very small and the shower head is too low. If you are tall, you can’t stay here.

NÃO TINHA STAFF QUANDO FICOU SEM LUZ ROUBADA

Era um apartamento, uma Guest House no terceiro andar de um prédio bem localizado. Nos 2 primeiros dias, tudo bem, apesar do café da manhã ser fora do local. O problema começou no Domingo, dia 30 de junho. Cheguei no hotel com minha esposa e filha de menos de 2 anos, e não tinha luz. Subi os 3 andares de escada, carregando carrinho de bebe e criança de colo, e quando cheguei no GuestHouse não tinha ninguém lá! NINGUÉM para dar nenhuma informação. Depois de 2 horas, sem poder tomar banho e sem poder ligar ar condicionado, resolvi fazer 1 mala e ir para outro hotel. Na saída, encontramos a Anna, proprietária, que não sabia nos informar o que estava ocorrendo. Ficamos 1 noite em outro hotel, e durante essa estadia, a Anna entrou em contato dizendo que o problema da luz já tinha sido resolvido. No dia seguinte volto e NADA DE LUZ! tive que subir os 3 andares e NINGUÉM ESTAVA NA GUEST HOUSE. Ninguém para dar nenhuma explicação. Fiz as malas (4 malas) e desci com tudo, na porta do prédio reservei outro hotel, pedi um taxi, e só depois que chegou a Anna e outro senhor dizendo que tudo estava se resolvendo, que eu devia ficar. Eu disse que não tinha confiança, que queria meu dinheiro de volta. Eles falaram que a culpa da falta de luz não era deles, eu disse que eles eram responsáveis pelo prejuízo que eu estava tendo, e que a culpa também não era minha. Esse ligar é ROUBADA! Meu único arrependimento em Roma foi ter escolhido esse lugar.

Fantastic stay

Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome. It’s quiet enough so you can get a peaceful sleep despite being right in the center of Rome’s action. Very close to nearly all of the cities main attractions. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help meet your requests

Perfekt läge!

Läget är riktigt bra! Ca 15-25min till allt man vill se. Enkelt att ta sig hit med SIT-bussen från flygplatsen, avstigning och påstigning Vatikanen. Billigt 11eur tor och endast ett stop på vägen. Rent, snyggt, allt du behöver finns. Mycket trevlig välkomnande av Anna. Vi tog med frukost, vilket var kaffe, juice och croissant på ett närliggande, trevligt Cafe. Man kunde köpa till äggröra/omelett för 3,50eur eller mackor mm. Kanske kan tycka att äggröra/omelett kunde ingått. Saknade bara en brandvarnare annars var allt helt perfekt!
