We had a wonderful stay at Domus Libera. The location is absolutely perfect — just steps from the main attractions in Rome, yet tucked away on a quiet street that feels peaceful and private. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great local tips and always ready to help. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and a modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the little touches like complimentary wine and a Nespresso machine. Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning, which made for a relaxing start to the day. Highly recommend for couples or anyone wanting a boutique stay with personal attention right in the heart of Rome!

This was a quiet quaint hotel that sat right off the main road. The staff was super friendly and wonderful to work with. They helped with luggage storage, taxi service, and provided a wonderful breakfast and recommendations around the city. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Rome.

We loved this boutique hotel. It was charming, the staff were lovely, and the location is within walking distance of everything. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed sipping coffee on the balcony. The breakfast in the morning is delicious with breads, pastries, and then they will prepare eggs or another dish for you. Overall a fabulous experience!

Excelente Ubicación y trato del personal, solo tiene 6 habitaciones y tiene un elevador muy pequeño en donde caben solo dos personas. Y la otra es subir por escaleras, pero si eres una persona no tan joven puede ser problema.

Hotelli loistavalla paikalla! Huone oli tilava. Tyynyt omaan makuun liian pehmeät ja litteät. Olettaisi pienen hotellin olevan joustavampi asioiden suhteen. Meillä lähti lento aamusta ja hotellilla tarjoiltiin aamupala vasta klo 8 alkaen. Saimme edellis iltana croissantit ja kuivakakkupalat muovitettuna. Ei maistunut. Huoneessahan oli jääkaappi jonne olisi voinnut toimittaa jogutttia, leikkeiltä tälle croissantille,mehua jne. Oletan saavani joustavampaa palvelua muutaman huoneen hotellissa kuin isossa ketju hotellissa. Aamupala muutenkin huonossa paikka keskellä vastaanottoa. 3 pöytää jossa voi ruokailla, kun toiset kirjautuvat samaan aikaan ulos. Käytävästä myös kaikkuu kaikki äänet huoneeseen. Katu edessä on hiljainen, ei autoliikennettä.

April was the star of our hotel stay- her baking is delicious, the cookies and chocolate cake is amazing! She is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The hotel is in the perfect location. The only negative we had, is the construction site next door. The noise started at 5am-6am most mornings, including weekends and didn’t stop until 6pm. We should have been informed about this at the point of booking. Such a shame as our stay would have been 10/10.

We enjoyed our stay at Domus Libera, the highlights being the excellent location, staff, and included breakfast. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful before and during our stay, including to help us reserve a private transfer from the airport, providing recommendations for restaurants and cooking classes, and bringing us a fantastic room service one morning we were there. Breakfast has a really lovely spread of cold options (breads, fruits, cheeses, juices), with eggs etc. and espresso made to order. We only had one issue, which was fortunately able to be resolved quickly- our initial room had a fairly unpleasant smell of fermented cabbage, which may have been a result of the old building/rainy weather in Rome recently. The staff offered us to switch rooms when we told them about it- both rooms were spacious and clean.

There was construction next door and every morning we were woken up to Jack hammering and drilling. This was not disclosed to us before booking- we would have not stayed here! The bathroom sinks leaked and the staff left at 7:00pm every night - so if you needed anything after 7 you were out of luck. Would unfortunately not recommend

Domus Libera is a small boutique hotel. I really like this hotel because I can walk to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum, and etc. The room is roomy, neat, and clean. Staff are nice and helpful for me in Rome as a backpacker by myself. The location is great and convenient because it’s close to restaurants, laundromat, and bus stops. There is a few minutes from Roma Termini by bus and train to Leonado da Vinci Airport or FCO.

Amazingly located, friendly and comfortable stay.

Fantastic small hotel located in a perfect location, walking distance of all the main sites. We checked in after 7pm which meant a remote check in, using a code sent to us, and this worked perfectly. They were lovely to us throughout our stay and catered to our needs. A special thankyou to the amazing staff, who not only provided us with a delicious takeaway breakfast upon departure (since we were checking out before breakfast-time), but who also emailed us their tiramisu recipe which was absolutely delicious. Highly highly recommend.
