Appalling communication, avoid

The room itself was ok, shower a bit small but other than that fine for a few nights. The service however was appalling, mainly down to poor communication. I attempted to contact them a few days prior to arrival to see if we could leave our luggage as we’d be there before check in, I had no response. When we arrived we couldn’t find the place, it’s hidden away in a building with multiple uses; offices etc and there’s nothing on the outside advertising the guest house. Upon calling multiple times we got no answer and had to go and find someone working in n office to ask where it was. Upon arrival the place was locked, we kept calling and finally got through to be told someone was on their way. When they arrived the room hadn’t been cleaned and smelt of smoke. They apologised and waived the city tax due to this. A few days later we were going out for the evening and found a lady looking to check in on her own. She couldn’t find the place and there was nobody around to check her in. Again, no answer on the phone. Eventually we managed to make contact via text to be told someone should have been there. Appalling communication throughout, made for a poor experience in Rome unfortunately and makes me think twice about trusting hotels tbh.

We reserved two rooms about 5 or 6 monthsago. Upon arrival we were shocked to learn it was one room only! The owner livia sent us to another place that was disgusting! I did not sleep a wink! I don’t feel O was compensated appropriately! She said it is rated as 2 and her place is similar. Her place is clean and inviting. NOT that other place. I’d like to discuss this with someone further.

A pochi passi da via Veneto

Esperienza in generale positiva, a pochi passi da via Veneto. La posizione è sicuramente il punto di forza della struttura. Adatto ad una clientela poco esigente, di passaggio nella Capitale, che utilizza la camera solo come punto di appoggio per dormire, passando la maggior parte del tempo in giro per la città. A parte un’incomprensione iniziale riguardo l’orario di arrivo e la possibilità di appoggiare i bagagli presso la struttura, la proprietaria si è resa molto disponibile e gentile nel lasciarci la possibilità il giorno della partenza di ritirare i bagagli nel tardo pomeriggio. Pulizia buona all’arrivo, ma le camere non vengono pulite giornalmente.
