Everytime we go to Rome we love to stay there, small, beautiful and private, the breakfast made by the owners is wonderful but the best is the special way they welcome and treat you. Leonora and her mother the owners are like angels making you feel special. I love this place!!!

Hotel Villa Duse was a wonderful boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood in Rome. The staff was excellent and so helpful with dinner recommendations, organizing transportation, etc. I loved their breakfast in the morning. This was my first trip to Rome. I loved it!

The hotel is a little out of city central, but that is what we liked. There was always plenty of public transport and when we were done for the day we could come back to a nice quiet neighborhood. The Borghese Gardens were beautiful, just make sure to bring your walking shoes.

We always enjoy our stay at Villa Duse. Service is always perfect! Location is quiet neighborhood and easily walkable to restaurants. Parking can be tricky finding a spot but we always do. We will be back!

The property's gated access, there are only a small number of guests and it has smart outdoor areas to enjoy. Family owned and they are so helpful with text support of local restaurants and guides for the area, The breakfast is continental and very fresh, nothing is too much trouble, We were told it was ok to order take out eats for a meal in late one night. Just a lovely place to be based while in bustle of Rome, a beautiful walk through Borghese Park to main Rome sights 35 mins/ or catch local buses at lane end. Great stay, we loved it. Owned by a local family, Villa Duse is an elegant 19th century house with traditional features, antiques, and polished marble floors. Situated in Parioli, an affluent suburb only 15 minutes taxi from Termini (20mins by bus), this sophisticated property is an ideal base when visiting Rome. The outdoor area of the villa is very secure, quiet, and private with comfortable seating - the perfect place to relax with a ‘Spritz’ or a cold beer following a busy day sightseeing. Although the property does not offer dinner, there are local restaurants within walking distance. Our sleep quality was excellent with zero noise. The bedrooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean, our room opened onto a beautiful private terrace. Breakfast is continental in style and plentiful. Hot cooked alternatives are also available. Eleonora and her mum are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. I recently returned to Villa Duse, it is consistently good. The perfect boutique option for a memorable stay in Rome.

We loved this hotel. Off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are lovely with high ceilings and big windows with lots of light. The window shades can be lowered to darken the room nicely. Our bathroom was large with a big tub. It was a little high to get in and would not be accessible, but it was great for a tub soak. And a nice shower. There are many places to sit outside on a lovely afternoon or evening. The fountains they run at night are nicely lit. Perfect for a glass of wine. They have a nice little bar. You can serve yourself and take things to drink out into the garden spaces. They also have a Nespresso coffee maker set up for on demand coffee you can drink anytime. The breakfast was great. Lots of choices in breads, cakes, fruit, quiche, yogurt, cereal, juice, meats and cheeses. Breakfast service was great with cappuccino and tea served on request. The breakfast room is cute and intimate. The staff was very helpful. They spoke English. They helped us find a wonderful restaurant nearby, Molto, we recommend highly. This restaurant was on a strip with several others, and some retail. About a 12 minute walk from the hotel. Very much a local neighborhood. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and wonderful to return from the busyness of Rome to relax in this quiet place. The only downside is that we had to take a taxi in and out of the city every day, for about $30 a trip. But it was totally worth it.

Feeling at home

This hotel is inside a beautiful villa. The location is very quiet and ideal for me since it is one block away from my parents. I have been coming here for several years now and I always feel at home. It’s beautiful and welcoming.
