The hotel is situated in a convenient part of Rome, but once inside the gates, the property feels quite secluded. While the front desk staff was polite, they were unable to provide any useful information about the city. I had booked a superior room, while others in my group reserved standard rooms; however, the accommodations turned out to be virtually identical.
A major concern was the air conditioning unit, which was placed in a large box directly in the room. It produced constant noise and created poor air quality an issue that was particularly problematic for individuals with asthma or other respiratory conditions. This was not disclosed in the hotel’s listing. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant odor, and several fixtures were either broken or poorly maintained.
When we requested a refund due to these health and comfort issues, the process was slow and not treated with urgency, costing us over an hour to resolve. Which I had to contact Expedia where I reserved the rooms from for a refund. (They did not refund for the first night) Ultimately, we had to change hotels.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.
