Great location - beautiful bathroom - staff was very friendly and helpful - just note this is a small hotel and the reception desk is only open from 9am till 2pm.

Excellent location near the Spanish Steps and Via del Corso. The staff is very helpful. The room we were in is right next to the kitchen and the dining room, so you leave the room straight into the guests' dining table. Not very pleasant.

Property is in a great location. Our room was on the second floor. Entry doors are locked you will have to buzz to get in. They will give you a access code at check-in. Very small elevator. Room is very clean, on the small side, nice size bed very firm, good size TV by Rome standards, good mini fridge with multiple types of water, juice and soda drinks included. Room had a safe, Beautiful marble bathroom, nice shower, toilet and bidet. Breakfast was typical fruit, croissants, toast, yogurt, fruit and eggs. Staff was very friendly and accommodating with any requests. They are not on site in the evenings, if you are arriving late you will have to let them know a head of time.

Having read reviews, I had high expectations for the level of service. Based on our initial check-in, I was disappointed and felt a bit like I was being interrogated, rather then welcomed. Be aware that the suites are right outside the breakfast/reception area and the suites are not sound-proofed. Mornings especially are quite noisy and when you open the door, there are people right there and they can hear you as well. The building was undergoing construction, which was a shame as we wanted a quiet place to rest during the day between activities. The surrounding area was very nice. With the amount we paid, little things like the shower gel bottle empty upon check-in and not being filled until the last day when we had to request it ( only to realize that the shampoo was actually the shower gel we had been using the whole stay), and bigger things like the fact that we had requested a quiet room prior to arrival, were let-downs.

Located right by the Spanish Steps and name-brand shopping streets. Easy access to food, shopping, and famous places. Stayed for a family trip. Very clean and cool with A/C, cozy fridge, they served breakfast in the room (For Suite only). Pretty good beds, staffs were very informative. Due to the Assumption of Mary Holiday, some places were closed but it was my luck to pick those days. My family loved our entire stay here. Strongly recommended. Will come back if I have a chance to revisit.

We were very impressed with our stay here. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in our room was a treat and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was close to many landmarks in Rome and very walkable. The taxi stand was close by when we needed it. We would stay here again.

Perfect spot for Rome
This place is amazing. Perfect location and extremely comfortable for myself and two girlfriends. So close to all the attraction. Just down the street from the Spanish Steps and high end stores. Lorie cook a beautiful breakfast for us every morning and the day we were leaving early offered to have breakfast for us. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Outside our room was coffee and treats. Inside our room was tea with kettle.

Weekend trip with family.
Maison Evelina was a fabulous residence only 2 minutes walk from the Spanish steps. With lovely modern interior and decor we had a deluxe suite with 2 large rooms and great facilities, ie minibar, kettle, safe, large tv's, queen bed in one room and 2 singles in other, twin sinks in bathroom as well as shower etc and free tolietries. The breakfast was a varied hot and cold buffet, cereals, yoghurt, cakes, ham, cheese, olives, pancakes, fried/scrambled eggs made upon request etc - fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Around the area were shops, restaurants etc as close to Spanish steps where the metro station is convenient for getting around. All in all a great place to stay. Thank you

Dear Guest, We are sorry for your rating. If you were not anonymous we could have tried to understand the reason of your insatisfaction. In these days we had to move two guests from one room to another for a power failure problem. In any case we moved the guests from a classic room to a superior deluxe room. We did our best to solve the power problem and we also offered our frigobar to the guests. Sometimes little and momentary problems can happen, but it does not depend on us and our attention is to solve the problem and take care of our guests the best we can. My new Home away from Home in Rome
This place is no "Ten", no I would definitely rate this a "Twelve"! Where do I start....well, the location cannot be beat, it is on an elegant street with some fine dining and the finest upscale shopping. Two streets over you can find "Outlet" stores and there are large Plazas at both ends of this street. Upon our early arrival we were shown directly to our room, which at 11:30 in the morning could not have been ready, in order to leave our luggage. What a help that was. We met Janet & Alexandra who spoke English and Spanish fluently. The room was comfortable, spacious and felt like an apartment as it was so well laid out and well appointed. It was recently designed and remodeled by the husband of Alessandra, the owner. Easy access with the Door Code, it is simple and the same downstairs as upstairs, only one to remember! Small but adequate elevator eliminated the need to carry luggage up any steps. Rock solid and lightning fast WiFi, even had Netflix already so I did not need to connect my HDMI cable. Janet cooked us a fantastic breakfast that was done to perfection. We needed to ship and our sweet front desk manager helped us with directions and information to the Mailboxes Etc.store. Everybody here was beautiful and sweet, we truly felt as if we were at home :-) Thanks to all of you, see you on our next visit......

Great location and wonderful stay
I read all the reviews before booking and our family of four stayed comfortably in one of the suite. The biggest surprise is the huge bath room, I mean huge compared to other hotels we stayed in Italy. AC was strong and the beds were comfy, the included breakfast had limited items but it served our purpose. The location is great and close to all the major attractions. The hotel offers transportation to and from FCO but it costs a little more, I recommend you book through Welcome Pickups which is only 48 euros same as official Rome taxi rate.

Everything was wonderful, but we would have liked a mirror in the bedroom area because the only mirror was in the bathroom and it made getting ready difficult if someone was taking a shower.

A little hidden gem with great staff!
We stayed a couple of nights here and it was in the perfect location close to shopping, restaurants and sights such as the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. We stayed over a weekend and the staff were super friendly and helpful and welcoming! We will definitely come back again should we be visiting Rome again for sure!

Our experience with Maison Evelina was wonderful. They were very responsive, friendly and helpful with all my questions. The staff was very hospitable when we had the opportunity to meet them in person as well. Since we had to check in after hours, we were set up with door access codes so we were still able to get into our room with ease. There is an elevator available, so guests with mobility issues should have no problem accessing their suite. The apartment was very spacious and clean, and had wonderful amenities such as a full kitchen, large bathroom with a washer/dryer unit, dining table, TV, and more. The staff also provided a list of dining recommendations and other information to help us navigate the city. The location of Maison Evelina was awesome- so close to lots of shopping, dining, and the Spanish Steps. We had no problem walking to the Colosseum and back in an afternoon and saw plenty of amazing sights along the way. I would definitely recommend Maison Evelina and would stay there again if/when I return to Rome!
