easy access to all like food, Metro station, shops and St. Peter’s Basilica. Definitely will stay here again. Well recommended . Clean and comfortable, Massimiliano and one guy I forgot his name were very nice and helpful .

Very helpful staff and goid size rooms. However, the web page should highlight the out of hours costs to access the accommodation. Otherwise, very good location and premises.

It was in a very walkable area near the Vatican. Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There were restaurants all around plus good shopping.

The location is superb, just minutes away from the Vatican. The property is clean and quiet. The neighborhood is safe and has many dining options nearby. Would definitely recommend!

Budget but great value.Recommended.

Location near the Vatican but some distance from Colliseum but easily accessed by Metro. Room spotless with good facilities and good eating places of good value near hotel. Would certainly use again in this expensive city as a great budget choice. Lovely views from window.

We stayed at Ottaviano Guest House for six nights; overall we loved our stay. It was certainly very convenient, just a short walk from the Metro and again to Saint Peters Basilica with lots of dining options in the area. Our room looked out over the street and it was a bit noisy late at night and early in the mornings but in the scheme of things it’s a great place to stay.

Excelente

Excelente, limpio, la habitación amplia, la ubicación espectacular. No tiene recepción 24 horas pero no hay ningún problema porque tienes las llaves del hotel. Tiene ascensor, está ubicado a dos cuadras del Vaticano. Hay que mejorar la cama auxiliar pero sin duda VOLVEREMOS a Roma y al Ottaviano Guest House.

No amenities. Staff is friendly. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel/soap as there’s is not the best. Wifi is slow. The towels I had were not clean. It’s basically a large apartment with 6 separate large rooms with their own bathrooms. You have a set of a few keys to carry around with you. It’s very close to the Vatican. For the price, you may want to spend a bit more and stay at a hotel.

Nice room close to the Vatican. Only one, well two complaints, 1) didn't know upfront about the city tax levied at checkout and 2) felt rushed for checkout. It was supposed to be at 1100 but the person at the desk was at our door earlier than 0800 saying it was time to check out.

Lage !

Lage ideal; sowohl 10 min Spaziergang zum Vatikan als auch 5min zur Metrostation Ottaviano. Somit sehr zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Einfache Zimmer, sauber ruhig.

Superb location

This is an excellent base from which to explore the main sights of Rome. I could walk to most of them. I left my room at 7.45am and was walking in the Roman Forum at 8.30 am. The whole sight was deserted. A wonderful experience. I was in St Peter's Basilica which opens at 8.30am at 8.30. So I missed all the long queues and had a much more fulfilling experience. My room had all I needed. A comfortable bed. A large en-suite. A kettle and a fridge. Plus wifi. Vichenso on reception was so polite and helpful. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and very easy access to the subway.

HOTEL CONVINIENTLY LOCATED NEAR VATICAN

I traveled to Rome with my wife in Nov. 2016. Ottaviano Guest House is near the Vatican and Metro Station. The rooms are in an old building in good shape with elevator the size of an airplane toilet. The man at desk was nice, but not so the maid who cleans the rooms. Our room was nice with a small fridge and a good shower, but our bed and pillows hard as rocks. We were never told that the set price for our stay didn't include "city tax", which the man made us pay in cash before leting us leave.
