⭐ Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend My stay at Star Vatican Rooms was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The attitude of the hotel staff was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Instead of being helpful, they were rude, dismissive, and seemed irritated by basic questions. Customer service was clearly not a priority here. The room itself was outdated and poorly maintained. The TV service was practically useless—old, limited channels, and barely functional, which is unacceptable in this day and age. Overall, the room did not feel comfortable or well cared for. The checkout process was another frustration. The checkout time felt unnecessarily strict, and there was no flexibility or courtesy offered whatsoever. Rather than a smooth departure, it felt rushed and unpleasant, adding to an already negative experience. Despite the convenient location near the Vatican, the unfriendly staff, outdated amenities, and lack of hospitality completely overshadow any positives. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable or welcoming stay. The staff was also saying very unkind things in Italian..

Location - great for people Visiting the Vatican & accessible to Metro and buses, restaurants are all Close by as well. We felt safe walking around the area. Room - a bit run down, looked at under bed (thought we dropped something) & saw dust accumulation & seemed never vacuumed under the bed. I like that they do tidy the room everyday & bed is kept clean after a long day. They just need to scrub a the bathroom more to prevent mildew accumulation on tiles. Breakfast - had to walk (about 6-8 mins.) to a nearby cafe/bar. They have American or Italian breakfast options, went for American bf and loved the freshly squeezed orange juice they serve there. Communications- theougj WhatsApp and provided details about property and access.

Chambre normale MAIS sale ... douche pas propre, wc suspect, et au dessus du lavabos un semblant de spot qui ne fonctionne pas et au fils apparents.. quand vous ouvrez l armoire pour mettre une couette supplémentaire (clim tellement bruyante que impossible de dormir avec) et là .. des traces d un autre monde ... elle a du servir pendant un an ... Le petit dej est servi dans un bar a 5 minutes a pieds, et limite .. 2 tranches de pain de mie beurre et confiture..et un mini de chez mini croissant... Vraiment decevant que expedia puisse nous proposer un tel hoel .. car c est bien sous le nom "hotel " qu il est désigné.. alors que ce n est que 4 chambres dans un logement

The hotel is well located; however, a few details leave much to be desired. For instance, the bathroom sink is not cleaned daily, and guests may have to request basic items such as toilet paper. Housekeeping staff sometimes fail to replace empty rolls, even when new ones are provided. On the last day of the stay, there was no shower soap available. Used coffee cups were not replaced with clean ones, and there were no refills of sugar, coffee, or tea. In some cases, the bath mat was not changed, suggesting that the bathroom floor might not have been cleaned regularly. Overall, the housekeeping team appears to lack proper training and attention to detail.

La posizione è ottima, a due passi dal Vaticano e vicinissima alla stazione della metropolitana. Raggiungibile a piedi ogni tipo di negozio e ristorante. La camera è spaziosa, con minibar, cassaforte e bollitore per caffè/tè. La signora alla reception molto disponibile (abbiamo potuto lasciare i bagagli l'ultimo giorno e siamo passati a ritirarli prima di partire)

Overall hotel was good, location easy to get around Vatican City. When we dropped off luggage’s before checking time, coming from the port took us about 3.50 hours to get to Rome, wanted to use toilets and he said NO, instead he sent us to use toilets at the Metro station he didn’t care for 2 women in an unknown big city plus we had to paid, get change to use the toilets 👎

Perfect location, felt very safe. House keeping was a bit weak, basic. Sink and mirror not wiped down. Instant coffee not topped up. Towel service was good. Front desk was great, confirmed the tax office we requested for our trip to the airport. Overall 4.5 for the entire stay.

Excellent accomodations, great location, very clean. They ask for communication ahead of time on WhatsApp. Follow the directions given; we had difficulty finding the building--signage is not obvious. I highly recommend!

Para empezar no es un hotel, como el nombre lo dice son recámaras, las cuales están repartidas por toda el área, pues el domicilio que proporcionaron no fue donde terminé hospedandome, la chica que me recibió para mi check in al ver que estaba subiendo mis maletas no me comentó que ahí no era donde me iba a hospedar, si no hasta que se hizo el pago de los impuestos me lo comentó, sentí que solo fueron a dejarme a un cuarto, solo me dio las instrucciones en ese momento de manera muuuuy apresurada y prácticamente salió corriendo. La habitación estaba sucia, las tazas que dejan para el café estaban usadas, el baño estaba sucio, honestamente lo mejor de este hospedaje fue la única y el desayuno que proporcionan en un restaurante a dos calles de la propiedad, es decir el hotel no cuenta con restaurante y siiii el restaurante es excelente, la atención es de 10 y la comida es muy rica así como sus pastelitos.
