「This place was amazing. So much room, quiet, wonderful view of the mountains. We spent a lot of time in town, the drive was in and out was short. My wife said the bed was better than what we have at home. Comfortable living room so we could unwind, TV had all the channels we normally watch back in MN. You can't go wrong staying here!」

「When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. 「We drove up from Nebraska to see our son and his family who live in nearby Ronan. The calm and quiet was a great welcome as our son had been in accident and broke his back. So after emotional days, the calmness of the house was welcomed. It is a lovely property close to a beautiful lake.」

「We stayed at Pack’s place for 10 days and couldn’t have been more comfortable! The beds were perfection and it had great pillows! After long days, that was so appreciated! We didn’t do much cooking but the kitchen was fully stocked if we needed to :) it was walking distance of the lake and downtown area. We felt safe, secure, and comfortable! I had a couple of questions and the owners responded immediately! 」
