On the outskirts of a small mountain village, the home is situated away from the main road, making it Ideal for enjoying peace and quiet in the garden that surrounds the property. Many walks directly from the door in beautiful scenery, and a short drive to everything that this area has to offer, including windsurfing, white water rafting and skiing in season. The home has 2 bedrooms for 4 guests and accommodates up to 2 pets. There is free WiFi plus a range of DVDs, books and games. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a barbecue. There is a cafe/restaurant and general store in the village open Thursday-Sunday. The general stores and restaurants in Axat are at a distance of 12 km, and there is a very popular Sunday morning farmer's market at Esperaza (35km). Many old Cather castles are in the area, together with extensive vineyards with their own cellars. Perpignan and Carcassonne are both around 70km away.
