Lake side cottage

The property was clean, well described online and in a nice vicinity on the lake. Communication with Jennifer was excellent and checking in and out was smooth. Would definitely like to rent again except would need to bring our 2 small dogs.

Beautiful view of Higgins Lake & sunsets. Nice place to stay with family. Shallow water way out for swimming with children. Dock with steps for getting into the water. Beautiful lake for kayaking!

Great Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family (9 adults and 5 kids). The lake, beach, dock, and fire pit were great hang out spots. Jennifer was an amazing host who answered all my questions prior to the trip and ensured we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this house to all of my family and friends!

Forrest Dunes Golf Trip

We had a group of 7 playing at Forrest Dunes about 25 minutes from this home. Great location, nearby the course that easily fit 7 adults comfortably. This place is way nicer and bigger than it seems in the pictures. Great place to come back to each day after long hours on the course. Host was very easy to contact and communicate with.

Fantastic getaway

Loved the house and location!!! Every night was a sunset view from the dock. Kids loved playing in the sand and searching for shells in the shallow, crystal clear water. Boat and kayak rental were close. We will definitely be renting again!!!

Winter Fun

Perfect place to stay if you want to cross country ski. The headquarters is a mile down the road, and the lake was frozen for ice skating, cross country skiing, or ice fishing. Kitchen had everything we needed, and laundry on site. Nice place to gather.

Girls weekend

Location was amazing. Had a very small issue upon arrival with the code to get in and Jennifer was awesome. When I called she immediately answered and had us in within minutes. Would recommend for any and all.

Firefighters

Lovely house with all the amenities. Every year we come to Roscommon for the Firefighters Memorial festival and this house had plenty of room for our party of 13 adults. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Thanks for hosting!

Great for a large family!

The picture doesn't do this home justice. As you walk in your first look is of the open floor plan and views of the lake from living room and kitchen. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty choices for a large group. Both bathrooms are a pass through from two of bedrooms so FYI if your an early riser you will want to pick the front rooms so you don't disturb the late sleepers walking through. Parking is very limited but our group came via a 15 passenger van so it worked for us. We would most definitely rent this unit again. Thank you for letting make some memories.

Perfect family lakefront cottage

This property was the perfect fit for our family vacation. We had 6 adults (great grandma, grandma, mom, dad, sister, boyfriend and 3 kids (ages 6, 4 and 4 months). More than enough bedrooms. The bathrooms were a little odd given they’re connected to the bedrooms but barely worth mentioning. The property had more than expected. Plenty of cooking supplies. Many basic pantry items. Cleaning supplies and paper goods were abundant compared to most VRBOs I’ve stayed in. The area of the lake is perfect for young kids as noted. The water is so shallow near the shore but deep enough you can rent/bring a boat and walk it to the dock area. Very much appreciated that there were fans in every room, although the cottage never got too warm. Also very much appreciated all the chairs, on the dock, near the fire pit and on the patio. My kids loved the sand toys too! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness is because the carpets and the pillows could use a good cleaning. We would absolutely recommend and would rent this property again.
