The only negative is that the listing states private pool and beach access within this community, however we never found it and there were no directions provided on how to get there. “The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip!”

“A really unique and cozy stay close to attractions, the dunes, and a small beach. The fireplace was a big draw for me in the listing so I was disappointed to read it wasn't functional but everything else was great. The stove didn't work but the owner offered to have it serviced while we were there or to bring over a toaster oven. She was very responsive and I'd stay there again for sure! The outdoor areas are superb and the beds were super comfy.”

A park right across the street, the beach 5 minutes away, and a mini market with ice cream on the corner.
