I do not know even where to start, did the suggested checkin on line so it’s quicker, that would be a no, not quick at all. We got “upgraded” to an apartment that was so disappointing - cracked floor with duct tape on some spots; shower made a super big puddle on our floor which we reported and a guy came to say he’d be back to chalk it and give us more towels as we used all ours to mop it up and neither happened; room was so hot and the fan available only stayed on for a bit, you’d have to wind it up again several times a night. I would not recommend

The apartment was incredibly spacious, modern and with amazing views from the huge windows, that ran the length of both sides of the corner apartment. Everything we needed was provided and we had a very comfortable stay. I'd recommend this property.

Worse Hotel Experience from an Avid Traveler

This place is quiet a dump. The images are from years ago when the property was built. Sewer smells from the bathroom and kitchen. Holes in the walls and floor. Music blasting in the hall from the other hotel guests, who are just as trash as the hotel. Stayed 3 nights and didn't shower as the sewer smell from the bathroom was so pungent. Ruined my time in the city. I was moved to another room and the next room was just as bad. The worse hotel I've ever stayed in. Would not recommend. In fact I urge unsuspecting travelers to not fall for the images of this property. It is very misleading. This property is more akin to a terrible hostel than a hotel.

Comfortable apartment in central location

Very good central location, clean and comfortable. Close to station, supermarket and shopping. Decor slightly tired - peeling paint etc but overall still excellent. Full kitchen but no microwave.

Lovely city centre apartment

Stayed for two nights in May. The apartment was maybe starting to show its age a tiny bit but overall was a really great apartment in a very central location. It's easy to get around Rotterdam from the hotel, we just walked. Only negative was a smell in the bathroom on one of the mornings - possibly a partially blocked drain.

The accommodation is only 10 minute walk from Rotterdam Centraal and right in the heart of the city, the room was fantastic, with a great view over the city from the balcony and windows. Loved being there, didn't have any issues at all, staff were helpful, it had everything we needed for a great stay would highly recommend and would 100% stay here again

The location is fantastic, it’s around 10-15 minutes walk from the Rotterdam Central Station and just next to the shopping mall and restaurants around. The rooms and space are big but the utilities are terrible. The water is leaking from the shower cubicle and the only solution from the staff is using lots of towers to absorb the water on the floor. The water taps are very old and not easy to define which way to get hot water and which way for cold water.

Dirty studio with no air conditioning - there is 'climate cooling' but it does not work... We had to sleep with the balcony doors open it was so unbearably warm. The towels and bed linen are stained and old. We asked for replacement towels as ours did not seem like they'd been wash at all but they never appeared. No cleaning unless you stay for longer than 3 nights. The 'king' bed is two singles pushed together with a duvet that isn't big enough for the combined bed. They also travel apart from each other during the night resulting in a large gap each morning. There are only two lifts which serve 19 floors (c. 70 apartments). As a result they are very slow and can take a very long time to arrive meaning you need to allow 10 minutes just to get out of the building. The TV is old and does not have any smart features like Netflix or share to screen. Two positives are the location and the view - our room was on the 9th floor. But ultimately I cannot recommend this hotel and I would not stay again. I'm also shocked that this is a Expedia VIP hotel.

After our amazing stay here last year we decided to book the same corner studio again this year. This time the apartment we were in was smaller (though still with the beautiful glass walls and great views). The balcony was dirty and the glass was in desperate need of cleaning. The apartment overall, though modern in appearance, was a bit tired and would benefit from a refurbishment. The WC room had cracks running up every corner and along the edges of the floor, the soft furnishings were a bit grubby and the entire floor space was very scuffed. The washing up liquid bottle was also empty (not a big deal but it made me wonder why it hadn't been checked) On a positive, the bed was comfy, though sadly, one with a split double mattress which always results in one of us getting wedged in the centre by morning. The desk staff were polite and efficient. Despite Expedia stating this was a VIP Access booking, we didnt reveive any additional perks. We would possibly stay here again, but would speak to the accommodation first about the studio we were booking. The apartment is central to Rotterdam and within easy walking distance of pretty much everything. Lijnbaan Interparking is a 2 minute walk and we booked 3 days 'come and go' parking there for a total of €35 though its half that if youndont intend to use the car during your stay.

Top Unterkunft, die Lage kann nicht besser sein, raus aus dem Haus und mitten drin. Da ein Zimmer im 15 Stock, ruhig und ein Ausblick, den muss man gesehen haben. Toller Aufenthalt in Rotterdam mit 2 erwachsenen und 2 Kindern.

Stylish, modern and very clean property., well located for the train station and shopping. Polite, friendly staff, however, we reported a fault in our apartment at 11am and they promised to sort it before the evening. Unfortunately upon our return at 6pm they had not even been to inspect it. They were very apologetic and sorted it immediately, which was greatly appreciated.

Urban Residents is a gem in the heart of Rotterdam. Huge apartments with floor to ceiling windows plus balcony. Kitchen was fully functional with top of the line appliances. I will definitely stay at Urban Residents again. Tons of shopping and dining options in walking distance.
