I hate to write a bad review about this apartments but I must. The apartment, location, and communication from arch duchess was wonderful. The problem was the downstairs neighbor. Every evening at 5:30 she started banging on the ceiling every time I got up to walk. She banged on the ceiling sometimes when I would even shift on the couch. She would bang on the ceiling from 5:30 until I went to bed around 10pm. She then came and banged on my door several times (I do not speak French and did not answer). She left a note asking me to “walk more softly”. I am a quiet person. I moved the rug into the living room and put on socks. But she STILL kept banging. Then she had friends over for a loud party until midnight. Arch duchess contacted the building manager twice but the banging continued. I was booked for 3 weeks but ended up leaving a week early because of this situation.
