“Check in was fine, property was a little old, but that wasn't bothersome for us. We did rent a room with a pull out sofa bed. Upon checking both closets for sheets for the sofa bed, we only found two pillows and a flat sheet, no blankets. I went to the front desk to request extra blankets, and the man working the desk seemed irritated I was asking, asked if I had checked the closet, then said he would bring blankets to our room, but he never did. We ended up taking a sheet off the queen sized……

“Our room was great, like new, very clean and quiet with nice views. Front desk staff on check in never stood up to greet us and was not really friendly. Seems like customer service training might be in order. Also, seemed very odd that staff from the desk and kitchen were all in blue jeans and hoodies, not very professional. Breakfast was typical of hotels where included in room rate.”

“Breakfast Saturday morning was delicious. Some sort of chorizo, egg with tortilla. And as always the waffles are a favorite. Lots of bears in town/parking lot at night.”

“This hotel is in an excellent location and the bed was comfortable. The shower water pressure was excellent. It has free parking. But it is not a “boutique” hotel. It is more of a skiers “hostel”. The room is tiny. It has not been upgraded ever. There is no staff on site after 6pm.”

“It was located less than i mile from National Park and 1/2 mile from downtown Steamboat. Great Jacuzzi on outdoor deck was clean and worked perfectly. View was excellent and the staff was very responsive and the checkin/checkout was very easy. Highly recommend and we will come back during the Rutting season next year. Lynn & David”
