Top Rovaniemi Hotel Reviews

Arctic Light Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is absolutely top class. Staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, well laid out with large well maintained rooms. The breakfast spread included in the price is very good with something for everyone. The Arctic Light restaurant open in the evening serves great reasonably priced food."

Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara

10/10 Excellent

"A great hotel with a real sense of warmth and tranquility, fantastic staff and clean well made rooms. It sits at the top of the Ounasvaara hill, so prepare for it, but we loved it. The views over the forest, with the town beyond, are lovely. It's a lovely walk along the forest path down to Rovaniemi (about 2km), we stayed in October and there was no snow. Be prepared for the climb back up, or hop in a taxi for a short ride. The restaurant is a real highlight: local flavours, beautifully served by knowledgeable staff. There's a children's menu too, and our 11-year-old was very happy eating there. Highly recommended."

Polar Nook Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"As a frequent traveler to Europe, this is hands down the best value hotel I’ve stayed at. The self-check-in is seamless, and customer service is excellent—they answered my call instantly and sent staff to help right away. It was a pleasant surprise that they even offer Chinese support alongside English and Finnish! The location is extremely convenient, with a shopping mall, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, with strong shower pressure, reliable hot water, and great heating. Getting all of these at this price in Europe is practically flawless. Highly recommended!"

Aito Igloo & Spa Resort

10/10 Excellent

"A quiet but stunning location, the hotel has amazing views of the lake. Location is a bit further out however Hotel provides regular shuttle services to the city centre, Santa village and the airport. Spa facilities were great. Staff were exceptional, helping above and beyond with any request we had. Ying, Melody and Laura - thank you for making this trip memorable for us."
