"I was worried after reading reviews about ongoing renovation noises but I found that renovations seem to be complete. Public spaces and my room were clean and looked good. The best thing in my room was wood flooring instead of carpet. What an excellent hygiene measure. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was basic continental. I will be returning here."

"My family had a blast! This home offered wonderful outdoor space with the large covered porch, floating dock, and wooded surroundings. The house was open and very family-friendly, with many little "extras"! My grandchildren had to be convinced to leave to do any exploring of the surrounding areas; they were perfectly content to spend the days running up and down the river bluff, playing on the float pad, fishing, and kayaking. Location is perfect if you are looking for a little solitude and the sounds of nature. Located at the back of a cove with little to no boat traffic; dock, float, and kayaks to enjoy the water so no boat required; few, yet friendly neighbors; many local eateries off the beaten path that were great; and within 30 minutes of many nature-made attractions. We will definitely be keeping this property in our "favorites". Thank you so much Edita for a wonderful 1st experience booking a vacation home."

"Bill's place is lovely and was great for a long birthday weekend trip for our foster daughter. It meets or exceeds the photos in the listing. We appreciated the wagon to carry our things down to the water. We also liked that you don't have to go up & down flights of stairs to get to & from the lake. Do be aware that there is a flight of stairs down from the driveway, then back up into the cottage. I did contact Bill during our stay & he responded quickly. We enjoyed swimming & fishing from the dock - didn't catch much, but we did get a few. Didn't get a chance to use the canoe & kayaks, but all the equipment was available. One thing to note about the wi-fi, we brought our own streaming stick and it and both of our phones connected & remained connected for (the vast majority of) our entire stay. The LR TV, which is just a few feet from the router, and the basement TV both struggled to stay connected. To his credit, Bill tried to resolve the situation, but not much he could do. Cudos for the effort Overall, a great place to stay at a peaceful place. Highly recommended!"

"My husband myself and our twin 11 year old grandsons spent a few memorable days at the Cabin in the Cove. The cabin was everything we needed for a fantastic trip. We had plenty of privacy. The dock, fishing and swimming made it all worthwhile. Lots of laughter and great memories made. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. 🙏"

"Wonderful stay here with my family. This part of the Lake is peaceful and relaxing. Took the paddle boat around the cove to a small waterfall. Next trip to Lake Hartwell will definitely be here."
