Overall great stay

We were in town to visit family and ski @ Black Mountain (which is well worth the price of lift ticket). The house was comfortable and clean and the host was very responsive. The location was great for us - close to family and the mountain.

Perfect place for a ski weekend!

Ventsi and Sarah's property is lovely. We enjoyed staying here -- the hosts are very easy and quick to communicate with, the property is really well stocked, and it was exactly as the listing described. We hope to come back!

Clean, comfortable, and convenient

We, two families (4 adults, 3 tweens), stayed two nights in February. The home was clean, warm, and conveniently located to Black Mtn., where we were skiing. A quick 10 minute drive to Black and 20 min. to Sunday River was great for us. It's a small space but but comfortable with plenty of beds and couch space. We found the bathrooms to be slightly awkward, as they are attached by a pocket door and directly off the master bedroom. The kitchen is modestly equipped for cooking. I'd recommend this home to a small group that has activities planned in the area and needs a landing spot for sleeping and quick meals.

I would rent this again

The house was exceptionally clean and the location was central to everything we did for the week. The owner was wonderful to deal with, very prompt with responses and gave excellent suggestions for things to do in the area. One negative comment ... it was very hot and humid that week and there was only one window A/C. Plenty of fans, but it was hard to keep the house cool. The locals said the hot weather was very unusual, so it probably isn't typically an issue.

Rumford Home

I have stayed at the house a number times over a period of a month or two and have only good things to say about this rental. I had plenty of space, the house is a pretty cool renovated and updated house that is very clean and in a safe convenient neighborhood. I will be looking to stay again in a couple of weeks. Thanks Ventsi and crew!

My brother’s family and mine (total of 8 of us) needed a place in or near a Rumford to spend Christmas with our parents. Couldn’t believe it when we found this house around the corner from our parents on Pine St. This gave us the extra bedrooms we needed and a clean comfortable place to give my parents some peace and quiet at the end of each day. Kitchen and Bathroom condition are always key when renting a home. This house gets high marks in those areas. Plus, the large sectional in the TV Room was a great place for morning coffee and relaxing at the end of a busy day. Thanks for a great stay!
