Our spacious, Australian-made safari tents offer 38sqm of interior comfort plus a 12sqm private deck—perfect for soaking in a relaxing outdoor bath or enjoying sunset drinks. Each tent is thoughtfully positioned for privacy and features its own firepit, BBQ hut, outdoor seating, and bath, creating the ideal romantic escape.

The tents are located on a 254 acre farm. The road on the farm is unmade but suitable for most 2WD vehicles.
We recommend taking your time to get up to the tents for the safety of the wildlife that abounds on the property.

The tents are self check-in, with directions sent prior to arrival. The property is well signposted to the glamps with a sign up near the tents directing guests to their tent.

Akuna Estate is found on the Castlereagh Highway, travelling by car from The Blue Mountains, 10 minutes past the town of Capertee towards Mudgee. It is also possible to get a bus from Lithgow train station right to the bottom of our driveway.
