I believe this place has immense potential – but needs some more TLC and fixes before it can be a true 5-star rating. "Our family had a great stay. We had four adults and my 10 year old nephew who loves to fish. The unit was very clean and recently totally remodled.We had 2 cars and a 21 ft boat that the host arranged to fit easy. Good amout of restaurants close. Boat, Fish and Swim close. Looking for a lake trip like when you were a kid this is it."

"The lake house had everything we needed, and so much more. The space was very clean and well decorated. We love the outside living space. There was a ton of seating outside, and was perfect for soaking up the sun and watching the lake/wildlife. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day. We did get a chance to meet a few neighbors and everyone was VERY friendly! I will definitely be back! "

Whirlwind Waters Paradise

"We had such a nice stay at the Whilwind Waters Paradise!The house was just as pictured, very clean and the view was amazing. We did not utilize the basement bedroom as it was not suited for our older adult crowd but would be a great space for kids to sleep since it’s off on its own with bunk beds.It was hot weather so we didn’t get to use the hot tub much but it is very nice and would be so much fun in the winter.The house does not have a dock across the street, however we were able to rent a pontoon boat along with a slip about a mile up the road which was very convenient and a lot of fun. (We could dock it at paradise island for the day which was just a few minute walk up the street from the house). Communication was great with the ownership and I highly recommend renting Whirlwind Waters for a family or friend get away."

"Better than expected. Gary was very kind and communicated fast and very well. Really nice, clean, neat and fully stocked unit. We rented his boat which was clean and ran very well. We could not have had a better vacation. We rented in July 2025 and also in August 2025 because we liked it so much. Would definitely recommend and visit there again next year and maybe for several years. Neighbors all friendly too."

"Clean, well-stocked house. Very well decorated. The patio, which faces the lake was fantastic. Great sunrises. Shaun was responsive and provided clear instructions and good recommendations for the area. This was a girl's trip and we would definitely come back. "

"We had a delightful stay at Happy Harbor! The house was darling and spotless, kitchen well stocked, bathroom amenities were plentiful, and the beds were so comfortable! The village is very walkable, located near Indian Lake state park with plenty of walking trails and a wonderful dog park. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!"
