"We really enjoyed our stay! The dock was super nice we did a lot of fishing from there. The cabin is small but it the perfect size for two people. The location is far enough from town but easy to get to. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The only negative I would say was when we turned on the hot water there was a smell. I’m not sure if this normal or if it was in the original listing. We just took cold showers. Overall we would love to stay again."

"This is an amazing house! Beautifully decorated, lots of space, comfortable and perfect for getting away from crowds of people. The secluded location was lovely. We stayed here with our 3 kids. During the day, we visited the busy areas of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains (all about an hour away). "Poppy's Place is a wonderful cabin with great views! We spent Christmas of 2023 there and had a great time! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and came with everything we needed!! The hosts were great with communication and replied to each text message we sent when we had questions. Wonderful welcome items were waiting for us at the cabin when we arrived and the whole process was easy. I would recommended this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain vacation!! 5 stars!!!"

"Gorgeous cabin in a wonderful location. Listing is totally accurate and the pictures don’t do the home justice. Plenty of room for our family of six with room to spare. Having the bedrooms split 2 per floor is perfect and the deck and hot tub overlooking Douglas Lake provides amazing views. The owner is extremely responsive to any issues as is the local property manager. We had a wonderful week and would go back again in a heartbeat."
