This stay was by far one of the best stays i've experienced. This house was really clean and beautiful, there was enough room to accommodate everybody, and there was plenty to do. The host gave easy and simple instructions and my group definitely enjoyed our time here.

Property was nice. I had allot of older people in my party and the stairs was a little issue. Maybe reiterate about the stairs in the listing. But overall great property!

Homecoming Happy Place!

We loved this property in Ruston, Louisiana! This was a new listing, so we didn't fully know what to expect since there were no prior reviews... A collective "Wow!" is what we said when we opened those doors!! :) We were having a homecoming reunion, so we rented both units (A and B). We were thrilled with the amount of space that provided us, and we loved the modern look and feel of the place! We will be pppp! Thanks to the host for everything! PJ

The house has a lot of charm and some great features, but there were several surprises we wish had been clearer in the listing.Pros-The house was easy to find and check-in was simple.-Cool old home with nice furnishings and a comfortable living-room setup.-All the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the amount of seating available.- The kids loved the floor puzzle and playing Scrabble.Cons-The kitchen was missing some basics, like hot pads, measuring cups, skillet, and toaster would have been nice, but we were able to work around it.-Two of the four bedrooms had extremely bright exterior security lights shining directly into the windows all night, and the blinds did nothing to block the light. It felt like daytime inside the rooms.-Noise traveled easily from the downstairs half of the house; renters below had loud music and TV that carried clearly through the walls, giving it more of a motel vibe.-Not suitable for small children due to two unprotected staircases.Big Surprise / Important to Know-When we opened the front door, we were immediately met with 20 steep steps leading straight up to the second floor. We were traveling with an older family member and we wouldn’t have booked the property had we known. The house definitely has potential and some very nice qualities, but a few adjustments and clearer listing details would greatly improve future stays.

Beautiful home and Great Host

We rented this property to attend our daughter’s graduation from La Tech along with several family members. The house has been beautifully redone and was very clean. The host had several little nice touches - water, popcorn, flip flops, fuzzy socks, toiletries and even sleep masks. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and we even had additional guests over after graduation and never felt crowded. It was very close to the college but the neighborhood was a little ran down.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a large house that has been converted to 2 separate units. Unfortunately the renters of the other unit was throwing a party that consisted of a lot of people and very loud music. To the point that we ended up going to a hotel for the last night. This is not the fault of the host but is something to consider when renting. We were not upset because we had been able to check in very early the day we arrived so we felt we had definitely gotten our money’s worth.
