Secluded Lake Elysian Cabin Retreat – Private, Peaceful & Steps from the Water

"add some window treatments and this place might have to kick me out going forward. an amazing stay, well stocked,very clean, and no honest complaints. took an early June fishing trip here and planned to be up early while here. As nightshift guy normally, my only complaint might have been the early morning sun, but that's just me as I'm sure most would have 0 issues in this regard. a side note I did bring my boat, which I can manage pretty easily myself when not hooked up to the truck. the parking is limited, but I had 0 issues disconnecting, rotating the trailer and pulling back out. just good info for those who may do the same. also for any boaters, use the south launch, I checked both and the north leaves a lot to be desired. early June weeds were up but not terrible, good fishing for having never been on this lake, lots of northern, a couple bass and walleye for basically a day and a half in the water, and no local input in this trip. again the cabin itself is as described, very clean, and cozy. again I would/will use again."

"As time goes by more damages occur! This place isn't immune to those like every other! It's well maintained & the staff albeit one lady I've met is very friendly & helpful! Rooms have nice beds & with fridge & microwave & a toilet what else is needed? WiFi of course, well they've got that too! Dollar store about 200feet from your door too! I almost forgot a garage is also added on to spoil us non garage owners!"

"A beautiful, clean cabin that was well stocked. She even had a dog gate there which we used to block the entry way while we unloaded so we didn't have to worry about the dogs running out. The fenced in area for the dogs was a huge perk, connected to the side door which made it easy to let them out for potty breaks. The 4 season deck overlooking the lake was wonderful, we spent a lot of time out there. Host was very helpful, we had issues connecting to the Internet and she stopped by to make sure it was working. Swimming on the beach was great for the dogs, it was a little weedy for us but they had began raking the weeds and had piles on the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay! We will definitely be back!"

"This was our first stay at a bed-and-breakfast, it turned out to be great. Our host Brad and Julie were extremely nice very friendly. A room was great. The breakfast was fantastic, far better than you’ll get in any hotel. I would highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast to anybody that is in the Waterville area. I am sure that you will be as pleased as my wife and I were."

"Greg was an excellent host, responsive and great attention to detail. Our large group, including 4 families with multiple kids ages 2-15, had plenty of space to sleep and play inside. The game room was a nice addition and we used some kayaks and the paddle board. We were able to access local amenities easily (5 min walk to the swim beach, 5 min drive to the state park and into town to some restaurants and parks). The biggest downfall to us was that we hadn't realized that the house is not directly on the lake; we had to walk across a road to get to that area and the dock. We didn't use the fire pit at all because we had kids in the house and it was too far away. We also didn't fish much for this reason."

"Very cute and super clean house on the lake. Plenty of beds for people to sleep! Great outdoor area and equipped with games and entertainment items. House is fully stocked with all you would need in case you forgot something. Host was very responsive and brought us another load of wood when I informed her we ran out. Great spot just wish the living room was a big larger. We had a group of 10 and we couldn’t all sit together in that space. Lots of fishing off the dock and my boys used the canoe to fish away from the dock."
