“The hotel is clean and spacious. The room is a Japanese style one. It is comfortable and clean. The spring is clean and comfortable too. Dinner’s food and environment is good but the breakfast is suitable for vegetarians (nearly no meat) and is not tasty. There is a free children game area in the lobby. “The Akebono Ryokan was a charming place to stay in a lowkey town that provided an excellent base for exploring Saga prefecture. The staff were so friendly, helpful and delightful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Staff recommendations for the 3 places to eat dinner were wonderful- each small, specialised, local and in walking distance. Highly recommend.”
