There is no sink and no shower in the “private bathroom.” The advertised “hot shower” is a communal hot shower next to the dining room. The western toilet and sinks are also communal.

"I stayed here for 4 weeks between 2 trips to Everest Base Camp. It was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding Khumbu region and Namche village. My hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed, cared for and recovering from my adventures. The rooms were clean, the food great and atmosphere welcoming. "Stand out accommodation in Gokyo. The bright cheery entryway and dining room were a real treat after a long day of trekking. We got an attached bathroom and the room was spacious, tidy, and comfy/cozy. Food options plentiful and diverse and an espresso machine was a surprise bonus! The owner operator was friendly and kind.
