“First, the gentleman who greeted us was wonderful. The recommendation he made for supper was excellent and the restaurant's menu is right on the wall by reception. We were very happy with the spacious, gated parking. Check-in was easy and quick. We felt the location was safe. The temperature in the room was comfortable. The property itself is very simple. The bed was small for two people which made a comfortable nights sleep difficult, The pillows provided were fairly thin and flat. The……

“Elegant, chic decor, terraces and gardens welcome photographs! Glamorous bedroom with generous bathroom accessories and towels. Breakfast was extra but served in small delightful dining room with tables situated near the big grand fireplace. The hotel is a perfect restoration of a building from the Middle Ages in the Olde Section of Troyes ! One of the staff welcomed our very late arrival and waited on the small medieval street to show us where to park and to carry in our luggage. We reserved……

“The hotel is in a character property about 20 minutes walk from Troyes centre. The room was spacious enough with a large bathroom. Breakfast was continental style and very nice. The only thing is Google maps will put you right outside the house but there is no indication from the road that you’ve arrived at the destination as it is not signed. The parking is limited and only accessible from a narrow lane next to the house. However our hosts were kind enough to find us when we called them as……
