Nice hotel, service not great

Check in was not great, but we eventually got our pre booked and pre paid rooms. Room was comfortable, large and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was not great. Waiter brusque at best! Menu very limited and only the items listed on the black board available. No atmosphere in the restaurant, shame as very nicely presented and the food was ok Would stay again, but not eat.

Restaurant with false promises!

Big disappointment- having reserved 2 rooms and a table for dinner in the restaurant, we asked for the menu to be sent in advnce and double checked that the restaurant was open normally that evening, as we needed vegetarian dishes, which are on the menu. On arrival in the restaurant we were told that they didn‘t offer the full menu and had only a selection of 3 main dishes, none remotely vegetarian. When we asked what was in the tomato soup, we were told that they just opened a tin. The experience was terrible, the service terrible and the food, obviously if it‘s prepacked, had no or little taste. If you stay in a 4 star Novotel, having been assured that the restaurant would be open, you expect just that. It’s simply false advertising and taking the customers for a ride. For as long as this restaurant is still being run a such a shaby way, we will not be returning- we have been regular clients at the Novotel Saint Avold for 10 years, and it is rapidly going down hill, due to poor service and management. My advice : drive past and stay elsewhere.

Hôtel bien entretenu. Restaurant et petit-déjeuner parfait. Personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais j'oublie toujours ma gourde dans cet hôtel et à chaque fois, on me la met de côté ... ou on me cours après sur le parking pour me la rendre ^^

J'ai été retenu lors de la restitution de mes clées car la receptionniste ne trouvait soit-disant la trace de mon réglement ceci sans aucun retenue devant tous les clients dans le hall !! Alors que sa collègue, lors de mon arrivée avait validé mon réglement Aucune décence Compte bien débité perte d'une heure sur mon timing car j'ai été patient devant leur manque de professionnalisme bien que la prestation hotelière soit très honnête je n'y retournerait pas
