“Wonderful stay at La Sauvagette! We loved staying at this comfortable gîte in the gorgeous village of Mortagne-sur-Gironde. Vikki and Andrew were wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. The house had everything we needed, clean and well stocked with everything needed for self catering holiday including charcoal BBQ.The garden was lovely with great views across the vineyards. Pool was clean and warm and enjoyed by us all. Plenty of sun loungers and seats. Garden box had inflatables, brollies……

“Petite maison au calme, très confortable et d’une extrême propreté. Le jardin est charmant. Très jolie région, côté mer et côté terre. L’accueil de Brigitte et Jean-Luc est vraiment à souligner, ils sont extrêmement sympathiques tout en restant discrets. Séjour vraiment très agréable. Je reviendrai explorer ce qui ne l’a pas été pour cause de grasses matinées! Patricia ”

“Wir hatten einen herrlichen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Landhãuschen mit unseren beiden fast erwachsenen Kindern (16 und 18 Jahre). Das Haus verfügt über eine kleine Küche im Erdgeschoss, zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem neuen, sehr modernen Bad, wie man es sich besser ausgestattet nicht vorstellen kann, und einen Aufenthaltsraum. Jedes Zimmer ist mit wohl ausgesuchten, entzückenden Antiquitäten ausgestattet!Besonders genossen haben wir den 12 Meter langen……

“Notre séjour s'est extrêmement bien passé. Notre hôte a été d une gentillesse et d une hospitalité sans faille. Les petits présents lors de notre arrivée renouvelés pour la deuxième semaine ont été particulièrement appréciés. Le logement est très propre. Les équipements de la maison sont suffisants pour passer un séjour sans encombres. Calmes,paisibles...vous passerez des vacances reposantes.La voiture est indispensable ”

“We had a wonderful week at this property. Howard and Liz were amazing hosts. Communication before arrival was excellent and we found the property with ease using the what 3 words app (thank you Howard). The property is accurate as per the listing. It is ideally located for using as a base for exploring the coastline. We highly recommend the property. ”

“Nous avons passé deux belles semaines au milieu des vignes dans lesquelles nous avons pu nous balader. L endroit est tres calme, ideal pour le repos. La piscine est grande et il y a également d autres équipements dans le grand jardin, comme un filet de badmington, une table de ping pong... Catherine et son epoux sont à l ecoute et tres discret. L'hebergement est simple avec les equipements suffisants. Nous le recommandons :)”

“Sejour au top! Region tres agreable Si vous souhaitez vous ressourcer , faire de grandes promenades loin de la foule dans un endroit atypique alors foncez et Martine est tres accueillante!!”

“Sehr gut. Das Haus lag in einem Ortsteil von Saujon, nur 20 km vom Atlantik entfernt. Wir bevorzugten als Strand die Côte Sauvage , aber auch die Strände entlang der Küste um Royan waren sehr gut zu erreichen. Der Vorteil , nicht direkt an der Küste zu wohnen: französische Lebensart abseits der Touristenmeilen zu erleben . Märkte , Cafés , Boulangerien, Feste , kleine Restaurants und Bistros , Kirchen und Abteien . Und natürlich speziell in der Region : Austern und andere Meeresfrüchte absolut……

“Maison agréable et chaleureuse.La propriétaire Johanna une belle personne.Pleins de choses à voir aux alentours.Les plages sont proches.En voyage en famille accompagnée d'un petit lapin qui a apprécié la terrasse et nous aussi.”

“This is a lovely well equiped property situated in a quiet area close enough to local shops to walk (through the beautiful vin yards) and beaches only a relatively short drive through lovely scenery. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. The host was very approachable and easily contactable”
