Saint-Gervais-les-Bains Pet-friendly Hotel

"I stayed in Jan and we had lot of snow - probably ~60cm everywhere which was not cleaned so it was very difficult to park on the street. In this hotel I felt isolated from the town centre and cafes and shops. The hotel is very basic and my double room was tiny, too small even for a single occupant. The hot water ran out first day we came back from skiing and I had to take a cold shower after spending the whole day on snow. If I go again to Saint Gervais, which is really beautiful and charming...

"This is a very small hotel, about 30 rooms, right at the foot of the ski slopes, with stunning views all round. Stayed there for a weeks skiing with a friend (the skiing is great there). The staff were all lovely, really helpful, hotel spotless, beautiful lounge and terrace, comfy dining room with log burner, and bar on the end of the hotel. "Checking in was OK but as soon as we asked for a kettle for the evening we were told no way but before eleven we can give you hot water eventually no upgrading nor a drink welcomd as in other hôtels for my gold VIP status at expedia (in Napoleon a half bottle of champagne was waiting for us but ...) the water received was for less than a cup for 3 persons In the morning the breakfast was poor and non appealling and they did not enjoy the fact that we went elswhere for the breakfast on...
