「We stayed two nights last weekend and enjoyed our little getaway. A historic building and a little quirky, but very welcoming and just steps from the riverwalk. We felt very safe there and it was a bargain for the location. The bottle of wine was a nice touch!」

「The owners are amazing here. Pam absolutely had everything set for us and our fur babies so we could be comfortable and relax. This place is a dream, and is located in the quiet area, yet so close to everything! It was so easy to understand everything and get information. This place has everything you need as well, and the peacefulness of this place is so nice! We will definitely book again!」

「The place was exactly as expected. The yard was magnificent with giant trees and plenty of shade and ample room. Hopefully they get the damn repaired soon so the lake will be up to the standard level.」

「The property fit the needs our our family, however there were several things that left us a bit disappointed. Only 4 rolls of toilet paper, no trash bags, 1 roll of Paper towel,no salt & pepper or aluminum foil, baggies, hot tub connect to pool did not stay heated and the pool was dirty. Maybe a solar cover would have been nice. Some of the ceiling fans in main house did not work or we were told they make a loud noise. 「We got last minute tickets to a concert in Gruene and needed a place to stay. Luckily they accommodated us for the night and we sure did score! Great location, wonderful cabin. Will stay again!」

「It is pretty far out and the cabin we got was right across from an old travel trailer. Not great surroundings like I thought and had quite an odor. All in all though it was a good deal for the price and a safe place to stay. You just have to drive a bit to get to anything. 」

「Property is on the river and has many modern amenities. 3-4 great gathering areas in great room, kitchen, and outside. Hot tub is in like new condition and well maintained. While the house is older, the remodel and updating have been very well done so it feels and looks like the description. Water is low because of the dam work up river, but will be even more enjoyable once that work is complete and the river is flowing normal.
