Nature's piece of Paradise

Great place for those seeking solitude, quiet, local bird life and gentle streams flowing at your doorstep. The accommodations were as advertised, Access to local shops and stores was easy. Gas station within 1 mile of the location. If you're looking for a getaway that allows you to unplug when you want and enjoy live streaming when you need it, this is place... Pool and hot tub were nice additions and we truly enjoyed the camp fires at night... Great place to reconnect with Nature and all it has to offer....

Needs a Bit More Attention

The area is beautiful, and the house is pretty nice. Here are our pros and cons: Pros- The bedrooms: comfortable beds and the linens seemed clean. The three bedrooms with doors were quiet. The view and location: the house is nestled in the trees and has river views. It was quiet and private. The kitchen and bathrooms: nicely renovated. The pool: clean and warm. The upstairs rec room: a cozy place to hang out. Cons- The temperature; the house was sweltering hot when we arrived, and there are no fans or air conditioning. It was unbearable. We had to go buy 4 fans after the first night just so we could exist in the house. The hot tub: it had barely any water, and had dirty rings throughout. The landscaping and outdoor cleanliness: there are weeds all around the pool and in recreational areas. The lawn should have been mowed as well. The pool shed was very messy. There was not very much fire wood. The bbq has seen better days. The water: the water was orange. The listing states it’s drinkable well water, but the colour was unsettling. It left stains in the porcelain sinks and toilet. Towels: we were provided one or two per person for a whole week, without access to a washing machine. We all brought our own pool towels, but had to reuse damp towels inside. The bedrooms: note that two of five do not have doors. The finishings: things were loose, such as hooks and window handles. Not many places to hang clothes or towels. This place needs a bit more attention to detail.

Wonderful overall

We had a wonderful stay at Les berges du Moulin-Rouge. The property is clean, spacious and private. The only issue we had was a faulty hot tub.

La piscine chauffée c'est super!

Bonjour le séjour a été très agréable, la piscine chauffée est vraiment un plus au Québec. Est-ce que le tout a besoin d’un peu d’entretien, bien évidemment. Mais nous avons passé un très beau weekend familial.

Confortable, spacieux, très bien rénové, propre, vue superbe, terrasse ombragée, bien équipé, super piscine et spa confo, on a adoré!!! Merci aux hôtes et au personnel d'entretien. Seuls bémols : quelques serviettes tachées, bombonnes bbq vides et pourrait y avoir meilleure accessibilité (rampes aux balcons et pour les lits hauts). Bon séjour!

Très beau chalet. Nous avons dû être imaginatif pour asseoir 16 personnes à la même table à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. Nous étions serrés mais avons réussi. À ce que l’on a pu voir, le nettoyage du BBQ ne fait malheureusement pas partie des tâches de l’équipe de nettoyage et la brosse a vue de meilleurs jours. Prévoyez apporter la vôtre. Le BBQ est vieux et dangereux car le couvercle ne tient pas, il faut l’appuyer sur la rampe du balcon. Le pH du spa était trop élevé et l’eau n’était pas très clair. Nous n’avons pu l’utiliser malheureusement.

Très beau chalet bien rénové avec une belle vue de la rivière. Les lits sont très confortables et les chambres sont bien isolées contre le bruit. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. PVI : les deux foyers sont actuellement non fonctionnels et il y a deux chambres non fermées (celle du sous-sol et celle au-dessus de la chambre familiale). Bonne communication rapide avec les gestionnaires. On a beaucoup apprécié notre séjour :)

Magnifique maison

Très bel endroit. Fidèle aux photos et description sur le site. De belles et grandes chambres à coucher. Grande cuisine avec un grand ilot central.
