The hotel is in a lovely setting, the reception staff were very pleasant . The rooms were clean. Unfortunately the condition of the room and hotel was a different matter. It looks like it could do with a complete upgrade as it seemed tatty and in communal areas to be really run down. If money was spent in the right way because of its setting could be a wonderful hotel. Cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not eat in it.

Nice hotel, but poor air con

The hotel is a little dated now and would benefit form a refurbishment. Our room was clean but the air con was totally inadequate for the temperatures outside. I doubt it got below 25 in the bedtoom all night. The hotel has a nice pool inside and out, however its open to the public also and guests do have to pay (€34.30 for 2 adults and a child) which was.a bit much.

If you arrive by car in the dark then its not easy to see the driveway to the Reception nor where you can actually park. You have to go in and ask! Very friendly and informative staff so first class in that respect. Room was fine and good enough but noisy smoking neighbours in next room on the adjoining balcony. Restaurant staff great. Usual disappointing menu but typical french fayre and they still dont know what a well done steak is!

The room wasn’t very special but still clean and slightly upgraded. The pool was great but wasn’t included in the stay. The restaurant had very good and economic options. Good for a short stay.
