“Pousser la porte et vous devenez Alice au pays des merveilles..Oubliez vos flacons de parfum et laissez vous envouter par le parfum des fleurs, promenez vous dans l'allée des fées, et une fois dans la chambre, fermez les yeux et partez pour un voyage exotique..Tr_s jolie adresse..Nous y retournerons.”

“Ah, Pont-Audemer… son charme, ses canaux, et cet hôtel resté coincé dans une faille temporelle quelque part entre 1987 et la série “Dynastie”. On sent que la rénovation a coûté cher à l’époque — probablement en pots de peinture “rose bonbon sucé” et “saumon indigeste n°42”. Depuis, rien n’a bougé, sauf peut-être la poussière et les illusions. La déco, c’est un peu comme si on avait voulu faire du Ravel mais qu’on avait fini en Richard Clayderman. Et justement, un pianiste s’y acharne sur du……

“Un endroit sublime avec un cadre parfaitement entretenu et idyllique. Le seul bémol serait l’absence de service de boisson avant 18h30/19h, autrement je ne peux que recommander le lieu !”

“Booked into this hotel at the last moment because of a last minute change of plans. Only stayed one night, just wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful setting just a few minutes walk from Jumierges Abbey (go early before the day visitors arrive!). The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Just wish we had had enough time to use the very inviting swimming pool!”

“We arrived at 8pm, having called in advance to advise of our arrival time. We had booked a table in the restaurant at 8.30pm (the final sitting according to the website). We were disappointed to hear the restaurant was shut when we arrived. We were offered no refreshments (our booking stated a welcome drink)- the village was very quiet with only a burger place open so we had very little choice to get something to eat. Would not return.”

“Même envers moi, en tant qu’Asiatique, Madame a été extrêmement gentille et accueillante. Elle nous a également donné des informations très utiles et détaillées sur les sites historiques des environs. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, et nous nous sommes vraiment sentis reçus avec beaucoup d’attention et de générosité. Le petit ruisseau où venaient les canards, ainsi que le magnifique jardin paisible à l’arrière, restent encore aujourd’hui des souvenirs très marquants pour moi. Je me souviens……

“The views and grounds were stunning, especially the morning mist over the river. However, the public areas looked run-down and needed cleaning, and the freezers inexplicably placed near one of the reception rooms were odd. Our room was clean, but breakfast was mediocre with off-tasting coffee and inedible pineapple. Worth visiting for the views, but expect some cleanliness issues.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​”

“Beautiful old half-timbered auberge in a small town, with a delightful aspect. The owner, Tina, was very attentive, friendly and helpful - from local sightseeing recommendations to a lovely breakfast with locally sourced items. Bed was comfortable, good shower, rooms were spacious - for a building of this age - and parking was on site and easy. If you like the photos, it definitely looks like them, and I would heartily recommend.”
