Chez Jouannais is a small rural village; 6 minutes from Burie and fifteen minutes from Cognac. The village is quiet and there would be a requirement for a car to explore the attractions within the area.

The rear garden has recently been developed; there is a raised 8m x 4m swimming pool safe for children next to a lovely lounging area with furniture and sun loungers, there are extra deckchairs available for use at the property or to take to the beach. This leads to a very large enclosed lawned area for games and activities (goal nets and portable badminton). Along side the patio is an area for boules with direct access to the kitchen, laundry and downstairs toilet.

The two twin rooms consist on single beds with wardrobe space. The windows are fitted with shutters; however there are black out curtains should they be preferred. Additional blankets are available.

The huge master bedroom poses a ceiling feature; king size bed; sofa, lounging area; dressing table; dressing room with wardrobe and mirror, leading to a fully tiled en-suite with bath and power. There is ample room for a travel cot to be put up in this room, which is supplied.

The property if just fifteen minutes from the famous town of Cognac; 45 minutes from the coast at Royan; 1 hour from beautiful La Rochelle, 1&1/2 hours from Futurescope; 1 hour from La Palmyre zoo, an absolute must for kids .
