Fab, friendly, family beach hotel

Lovely hotel with good facilities for families. Great location and beachfront rooms are large and clean. Best thing though are the staff - all very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable and spacious double room with nice view. Very good breakfast with buffet and restaurant for dinner with 3 dish options in half board. Excellent position very close to Santa Maria center and in front of the beach. 3 nice pools with comfortable sun beds, all staff nice and friendly always ready to help. Value added the courtesy room.

Had a great holiday at Morabeza. Beautiful, attractive hotel. Nice Junior Suite with large bathroom. Spacious, well kept garden. Bordering the beach and the town of Santa Maria, everything within walking distance. Not to mention: fantastic, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

LOVELY HOTEL

The hotel is beautiful and we loved our room. It has very easy access to the town which comes alive at night with lots of very good restaurants. The beach side restaurant was great for lunch, we only ate at the hotel on 2 evenings as there are lots of great restaurants in the town Only downside was breakfast. It was a buffet style breakfast but not all the food was covered and there were flies everywhere. If you want a guided tour around the island then ask for Nelson he was a great guide

Felt that food options were very limited especially around the pool area. A pizza oven wouldn’t go amiss. Bathrooms don’t afford much privacy due to the type of door.

This is a very good hotel. But not as good as it should be. Many details were never explained to me when I checked in. For example: there was supposed to be a welcome drink/meeting the following morning, this was not mentioned to me. I found out days later and it would have been very helpful to me if I had known about it. As a result, several things were a mystery to me: The restaurants - I showed up at the downstairs restaurant for their buffet dinner on Saturday evening. I was told all the tables were reserved and there was no table for me. Someone else had earlier told me that reservations were not required, so I just showed up. This also happened two days later. I also wondered about towels - I had a green towel but I noticed most people had blue towels. As a result I was afraid to use the main pool and bar area because I didn't see any green towels. I went to ask about it and was told the green towel was actually a higher class and I could go anywhere. Who knew? Certainly I was never told and felt banished to the distant 600 block pool area. So...many, many strange details and lack of communications.. Perhaps a language barrier? Great hotel, not so great management I would say. Several waiting staff were also less than friendly or helpful. This hotel does the have the best location on the beach. The town area is somewhat sketchy, especially at night. Many aggressive sellers of all commodities.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit 3 verschiedenen Pools, darunter auch Adults only-Pools, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat! Viele Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar und der Strand ist direkt gegenüber! Nicht gut fanden wir leider die WLAN-Verbindung, man wurde dauernd rausgeschmissen oder es hat sich erst gar nicht verbinden lassen.
