“I liked everything about the Hawthorne and I would return. I rented the smallest room and that might have been an error on my part. The shower was my only hang up. It is tiny. But, again the room was my choice. I slept well and I’d choose the Hawthorne again!”

“Staff was wonderful. We needed a rollaway, no problem. Help with directions, they got you. Want suggestions, yup helped there too. Breakfast was wonderful and we got lucky with parking. They have it available at a lot down the street, but I got a spot right out front. Wonderful stay. ”

“Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. Do note - it's a lovely old house, but like most old houses, it does have steps, ……

“Cute 2 bedroom, I liked the Halloween theme for my daughter. Parking is tight but doable, we had a small suv. Very tiny bathrooms but we made it work. ”

“Love the property doors did not have number so when we first arrived, could not find the correct apartment finally discovered email with the link that had a video in it that said where the apartment was, but had no idea when it says number three but no doors have numbers. Other than that, it was beautiful.”
