Bring ear plugs! We checked in and saw one set of earplugs and wondered why. The hotel is above a night club. Loud music played until midnight or so. Wish we would’ve known this before booking because it would have been a no go for us. Room is very tight and the shower/toilet are a is the size you would find on a cruise ship. We made it work for the two night stay but we will not come back or recommend the place.

Nice Location, but nothing special. The room can be accessed on both sides of the hotel. We parked in the back and used the wooden stairs to walk up to the second floor (not ideal if you have heavy luggage). Room was tight / small. The property is older. The room was clean, comfortable, split into a mini seating area / limited kitchen. Bed was great. Bathroom was accessed through the mini seating area, clean, small towels and not great water pressure. Lovely little town and lots of nearby nice restaurants nearby.

This is a boutique hotel and as such it is a bit eclectic. First off, you couldn’t be in a better location for tasting rooms (try Pikes Road right under the hotel) and restaurants. It looked like fun shopping, neat little stores, but I didn’t go. It’s an easy in and out if you are driving and convenient to many wineries around the Valley. The parking is fine. The hotel itself is quite small. There is no lobby and no checking in. It’s electronic codes. If you have even a small problem with stairs, find somewhere else. The stairs are very difficult and there is no elevator. I emailed for someone to help with our luggage both in and out and they were extremely accommodating. If you are accustomed to instant hot water, not so much. Probably a good 5 to 7 minutes in the morning. Our bed and linens were terrific. The kitchen is quite small but workable if you are planning to cook. I probably would have given it five stars if not for the stairs

A great place to stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apt. was clean and comfortable with much-needed a/c, and nicely located downtown. Great restaurants, nice shops, and winery tasting rooms were all within walking distance. We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in McMinnville!

Great location in center of town. Building and facility is getting a little dated but its also part of the charm because of the history. Shower in tub is a bit cramped. And there is no staff on property most the time but we didnt have an issue.

Great location

Very nice location and updated studios in the heart of McMinnville. Enjoyed the tasting room downstairs with the coupon in the room. Excellent restaurants within easy walking. Stayed on back side might be a little quieter than front.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my third time staying at Douglas on Third, and it continues to be my go-to spot for business trips. The experience is consistently pleasant—clean, comfortable rooms, and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Whether it's a short stay or a few days, I've never been disappointed. The location is also ideal for my work trips, and I appreciate the quiet atmosphere after a busy day. Looking forward to staying here again on my next visit!

I had a wonderful second stay at the Douglas on Third Hotel. The location is perfect and incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around. I loved how cozy and welcoming the property felt—it really creates a comfortable atmosphere. What stood out to me was the warm ambiance and inviting experience throughout my stay. I didn’t encounter any issues, and overall, it was a fantastic visit.

I did like the area very much and how close it was to shops, wine bars and restaurants I didn't like the size of the showers, way to small and cramped. Like being in an RV and the fact there was also no closet space
