  • Your home away from home in Salem with 2 bedrooms. This marvelous cabin features 2 queen beds, offering plenty of space for guests to relax comfortably. With 2 bathrooms equipped with a shower and an antique claw foot tub with a shower. It has a fully functioning kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer as well, satellite dish for your entertainment. A barbecue grill and a fire pit outside. The 8 foot porch across the entire front invites you to sit and relax in the rocking chairs or the porch swing and watch the sunset or the children playing. Located only 2 miles from town but feels like you are way out in the country. It sits on 6 acres. Just minutes from several state parks.Current River State Park, Montauk State Park, Echo Bluff State Park, Alley Spring State Park just to name a few.

We were very happy with our accomodations. There's a bedroom and bath on each end so that affords some privacy. Kitchen has all the necessary things. Bedroom and bath clean and comfortable. Set in the woods. Lots of stuff to accomodate deer hunting, which might bother some. TV available. Bring your own DVDs. Great front porch with rocking chairs. No available wi-fi although I was able to use it via someone elses for the necessary things. The host was quick to answer questions. I look forward to coming back again.

Great property, fit our needs perfectly. Not the easiest to find lol, just look for the "1070" on the trash can. Enjoyed the big front porch as well. If in the area again we would definitely stay again.
