“This was our first time to Salem and this place made the trip even more spectacular. The house was in walking distance to everything Salem had to offer. It was roomy enough for 5 grown women to enjoy. I had a question about check in because for some reason I couldn't access my messages through the VRBO app(not an issue on the host's end)and when I contacted the host she was so helpful and was able to help me with the check in. “We enjoyed our stay overall — the location was great and the space had potential — but we were a bit disappointed given the price we paid. The home could really use a deeper clean and some upkeep. There were spider webs in corners, the floors weren’t very clean, and the upstairs walls had quite a few markings. “Location was good. House was from the 1900. There was charm to it, but doors were literally were falling off hinges. This property could use a face lift. Rugs were nailed to older carpet. Very spacious and stocked with kitchen items. There was a mouse in the kitchen. I understand sometimes it’s out of the owners control. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I would not stay at this property again, especially since they “double” charged me for the stay. It took days and multiple attempts to connect……
