This was our PERFECT Salerno “launch pad” for the Amalfi Coast vacation. The train from Naples took us to the historic Salerno rail center and even with two rollable bags, the walk to The Holiday Guesthouse was an easy and mostly flat 12-minutes. Easy instructions from Superhost Angela and we were in. Clean, very modern design and fixtures and great queen bed. The next morning Angela prepared a wonderful breakfast and assisted us greatly in the equally short walk to the Ferry dock for the stunning cruise to majestic and historical Amalfi. We could not be more happy travelers. 5-stars all the way. Bravo!

This B&B was a good choice. The bedroom is small, with a separate, modern bathroom and laundry which was so convenient. No place to sit, other than on the bed, which wasn't ideal. The breakfast cooked and served by Angela was exceptional. In fact Angela is the most important asset to the property, she is wonderful. The location, facing the street, was a bit loud at night, mainly from the scooters racing up the hill constantly.

We stayed at the Holiday Guesthouse because of the great reviews. They weren’t wrong. What a treat. Angela is what makes it super special. Our room was quiet and dark and had everything we needed. Breakfast with homemade cakes and breads, fruit of all kinds and even eggs if you prefer. Best place on our entire Italy trip. Thank you Angela

Bed and Breakfast i toppklass

I Salernos centrum ligger detta fantastiska bed and breakfast, nära till allt och med flera mysiga restauranger och affärer på någon minuts promenad. Bra och rymliga rum med bekväma sängar, kylskåp med minibar, AC och värdeskåp. En ordentlig och supergod frukost gav oss den bästa starten på dagen. Angela som driver Holiday Guesthouse är väldigt mån om sina gäster och att man ska ha det bra, och gör besöket både familjärt och hemtrevligt, här trivs man bra. Vi är väldigt nöjda och kommer gärna tillbaka. Holiday Guesthouse rekommenderas varmt.

Very nice stay in Salerno!

If you are planning on spending a few days in Salerno, this place is ideally located - within walking distance of the train station, the waterfront, and many bars and restaurants. The room is small but is clean and tidy and contains everything that you would need including a well appointed bathroom with a great shower. Angela is the perfect host - her communication is excellent, her attention to detail is impeccable, and nothing seems to be too difficult for her. She personally prepares and hosts breakfast each morning (she even prepared a travel breakfast for us because we had an early morning train to catch) and is willing to share her knowledge about the area and recommendations for activities and places to visit.

Angela was amazing she was very helpful and answered any questions we had, the room was clean but very basic , walls definitely need to be painted as paint is very scuffed up and I wish there was a duvet on the brown comforter, furniture could be a bit more sturdy but overall the room was clean and bathroom was a decent size shower was also clean with good water pressure. It was in a convenient location and easy to walk everywhere. Angela even arranged a taxi for us to go to catch our ferry on the day of check out.

Perfect place to stay, Angela is an exceptional hostess and excellent person, always aware that everything is in order and that one feels comfortable all the time.
