「We had a very comfortable stay. Georges was quick to respond to our questions. Language barrier was eased with the help of a handheld translator. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the downstairs lounge area. 「We had such wonderful stay here- there where 5of us and everyone had something that suited them. On arrival the host was extremely pleasant and whilst there was a language barrier we all managed to understand each other and she has leaflets to help. 「Fantastic position, right on the harbour, with shops (bakery, fish market, small supermarket) and good restaurants all within easy walking distance. Parking was easy right outside, but we did use the garage. Further afield there was lots to see. Bayeux is close by, while we visited Arromanches-les-Bains and Pegasus Bridge, plus the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer. This was not a planned ‘D-day’ visit but it really gripped (and moved) me. 」
