"We stayed with our 2 children for 2 nights in these apartments and they were great. Very modern and spotlessly clean. The apartment was a bit small for more than a couple of nights but was fine for the duration we were there.
Unfortunately we had to report a maintenance issue but it was sorted very quickly while we went for dinner.
The automated check in was a bit clunky - but we got there in the end!

"Lovely rooms, although basic, in a great central location, just a 10 minute walk from the waterfront, and even less time to get to local cafes and shops. House owner(s) were really welcoming. They stayed completely separate downstairs, and left you to your own devices. Downside would be the 2 shared bathrooms, although you hardly notice that other people are staying there and using them, and they were cleaned multiple times a day. "The Hostal was just perfect. The location could not have been better. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The roof terrace had beautiful views, sunbeds, comfy chairs and a well maintained hot tub. Rooms had great Aircon and a small fridge. Rudolf was an excellent concierge, full of information. He was very kind and helpful. Would love to return."

"Best hotel we've ever stayed in and we've been to Nerja ten times. Room cleaned everyday, hotel was spotless, lovely staff that go out of their way to greet staff eveytime you enter the hotel. They even arranged taxi to airport. Driver met us at reception, took our cases and escorted us to carpark for €80. After staying at Hotel Balcon wouldnt stay anywhere else!"
