Set in the rolling hills of Dutchess County, this Airbnb is a wonderful place for a quiet weekend. Upon entering the grassy driveway, one passes fenced pastures with horses in the distance.The Airbnb is set between forest and pastures.There is plenty of parking and easy access to the house.The main level has a living area with adjoining kitchen. A door will access the back deck that looks over Norfolk pine and deciduous forest. There is a grill on the back deck for use. Inside, the bedrooms are accessed with a few steps to the second floor. Three spacious bedrooms are available as well as a full bath. The other full bath is located on the lower level adjoining a spacious family room with fireplace, tv, and door to the garage.The owners live a quarter mile from the house and are readily available for any concerns. Rebecca is happy to show you the barn and horses which is a great treat! As an added delight, renters are greeted with cheese, crackers, and a bottle of local wine. One has so many options with the location of the house. You can just relax. Or, within a short drive, see the FDR house, FDR Presidential Library, Eleanor Roosevelt’s cottage, and the Culinary Institute of America. Note: if you want to eat at the CIA, be sure to make your reservations well in advance! West Point Military Academy is about an hour’s drive south, well worth the visit. There are also wonderful restaurants in the area (Eveready Diner and Cafe Les Baux). You will love staying here!
