An unforgettable stay
My stay was outstanding! Excellent personnel without exception! Specially Carol at the reception desk. Excellent buffet breakfast with many excellent choices. Elevator is a bit slow, but the reason is that most people use it at the same time. My room was huge, excellent WiFi and cable tv. Mini fridge is not new but it works fine! Planning to go back soon. Most beautiful view in the world and excellent location!

I normally don’t do this but this time I felt the need let people know what a terrible experience this was for my family and I. Where do I begin ? Back story on this place, well I am originally from Salvador and I know this neighborhood very well. This is one of a few upscale areas in the city and I also know this hotel to be known for its cool Concept they have for the restaurant by the water that has been around for decades. But please believe when I say that this was the most horrible experience I had with a hotel, from start to finish this Was a disaster. There is only 1 elevator working in the building ( barely ) even than it makes so many noises my kids were afraid to get on ( myself included ) cleaning I rate a big 0! Bathroom very disgusting and old with many stains . AC very old, so Old we even got a terrible cold after our stay . The gentleman in the front desk in the PM shift was incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful. The only reason why we stayed was because this was only a one night stay and I had paid in advanced. Don’t waste your money .. this place isn’t worth $10 to stay … it’s really that bad .

Family-friendly dated building in good location
A great location for families who need a shoreline location with safe swimming. A building not just tired but exhausted, with one working elevator for 24 floors. Some staff incredibly helpful. Breakfast offerings limited & the same each day, designed for local tastes. Amenity limited to aged mini-fridge in room. Safe neighborhood. Took 3 days before I could get a maid to clean the room. Great water pressure in ancient shower, with 3 inch difference between bottom of shower & floor without grip-bar for seniors to assist

Place was clean, good location, nice view. However there were no one to carry our luggages upon arrival up to third floor. Breakfast was extremely poor, food cold and not the choices I've made. Light bulb in the room was burnt out all the days we were there.

elevadors didnt work and the internet was down and they offered no explanation and options for me. they said at check out that i would receive a partial refund because i was checking out early. they said it would be up to me and expedia on any money to be refunded. EXPEDIA did not and said they can not do it unless the hotel approves and the hotel approved at check out.

Hotel is located in a great area but it's ran down
As soon as we got there they gave us a room where the air conditioning did not work and we only slept that night because we had a 8 hour flight and were exausted. After they moved us to another room the tv did not work and after complaining about it for 4 days we just quite complaining and stayed there the way it was. The only positive things we can say about our stay are the staff and the breakfast. The cost was good also

Great viewv- pretty much it.
Location is very good; right in front of the ocean, it has a pier with a small bar. As long as you get an oceanview room you're good. Not much, or at all, besides the above mentioned. Breakfast is OK only if you get there very early; they take forever in replacing food (if they do) and many items just get cold in display. If you're sensitive and want the staff to smile, this is not your place -maybe 1 out of 10 will. Elevator to the pier wasn't working during the 5 days that I was there... I dindt mind the long stairs but that can be a problem.

Very well located. Horrible services. Room smelled like mildew. WiFi didn't work in room. They charge an expensive charge for in-room Internet but didn't work either. I would never recommend this hotel.

Stay away from this Hotel
This hotel is located on the rocky beach of Salvador, rooms are midium size but very dirty, bathroom very outdated and shower had no hot or warm water, st front desk they can bearly understand a few words in english, breakfast was awfull, the only good side is that it has a dock on the sea where you can go take a bath.

Internet é péssima! Wi-fi ruim e até o 5g(e mesmo o 4g) não funciona direito no quarto. Gostamos bastante da vista mar, lindo demais, vista sensacional! Muito bom ter acesso ao Mahi Mahi, poder tomar banho de mar sem sair do hotel. Adoramos! O café da manhã tava com variedade boa, achamos bom! Necessário melhorar o sinal de internet urgente!

Peca muito na questao de atendimento, tanto no restaurante do hotel quanto no restaurante Mahi Mahi. Voce precisa se humilhar para ser atendida e ainda recebe um atendimento fraco de hospitalidade e simpatia. De ponto forte cito a localização,pois é perto de farmacia, mercado e etc. Apartamento é confortavel e atende a categoria do hotel.

Horrível, não perca tempo/dinheiro.
O hotel é ruim, não entrega nem metade do que cobra. Parece que no momento em que essas redes de hotéis entram no negócio, tudo tende a piorar. Os elevadores são muito demorados e só tem dois, é normal você ficar 10, 15 e até 20min esperando o elevador (sem exageros). Em um determinado dia, uma funcionária sequer tocou a campanhia do quarto e já foi tentando abrir a porta, segundo ela, haviam solicitado limpeza no quarto em que eu estava, quem solicitou eu não sei, porque eu estava dormindo. Mais tarde, outro funcionário tocou a campanhia diversas vezes porque haviam solicitado manutenção, novamente, quem solicitou eu não sei. Os corredores são extremamente barulhentos, os funcionários do próprio hotel conversam alto e ocasionalmente ficam gritando no corredor ou ouvindo música alta. O isolamento acústico é péssimo, acordei em um dos dias com crianças pulando no quarto de cima (às 05h00 da manhã). Na frente do hotel, há muito movimento/gritaria/problemas com gente entrando, saindo, estacionando errado, travando a entrada do hotel etc., volta e meia presencia-se alguma confusão com relação a isso. Serviço de quarto quase inexistente. Existe uma clara desconexão entre o restaurante que fica no próprio hotel e o pessoal da recepção, fui informado em um dia que eu deveria solicitar talheres no restaurante e o rapaz do restaurante disse que sempre mandam os hóspedes lá, contudo, eles não fornecem (isso porque a recepção e esse restaurante ficam a 5 metros de distância).

Gosto muito do hotel porém minha última estadia foi decepcionante. O check in estava previsto para as 14h porém só pude entrar no quarto 14:30 pois ele não estava pronto.O quarto era bom e confortável porém a noite, o ar condicionado deu problema. A equipe do hotel mandou uma pessoa da manutenção que resolveu o problema, mas por volta das 22h o ar condicionado quebrou novamente. Solicitei outro quarto por já estava saturada de tanto problema pra uma noite. Fui alocada em outro quarto dps de tanta dor de cabeça. Sobre a piscina, a cor da água não atraia ninguém para um mergulho. A água estava preta praticamente. Definitivamente não foi uma das melhores experiências que tive.
